The Animal Hospital of Humble is a full service animal hospital that provides general medicine and surgery for canine and felines. The wonderful and dedicated staff genuinely cares about giving your furry family member the highest quality veterinary care. The hospital is fully equipped with in-house laboratory, pharmacy, radiology and prescription diets for you pets needs. We truly believe, a healthy pet is a happy pet and we are here for all your veterinary needs.

This adorable Maltese is in for a wellness check, and we couldn’t resist snapping a quick photo! 🐾💗

Maltese dogs may be small, but their health needs are mighty. Regular vet visits help monitor common breed concerns like:
✅ Dental disease (they’re prone to tartar buildup!)
✅ Luxating patellas (kneecap issues)
✅ Tear staining and eye health

💬 How long have you been working in veterinary medicine?
- A little over 11 years! 💊

💬 What inspired you to work with animals?
- I have always loved animals growing up. ❤️

💬 Do you have any pets of your own?
-Yes 2! Darla and Scozy 🐶🐱

💬 What do you love most about your job?
- I love everything about my job. Getting to know the pet parents and pets on a personal level. Being in a place for so long, you get to build a personal connection. 💚

- I would probably be a Panda because I love to eat and sleep. 🐼

Did you know Bernese Mountain Dogs were originally bred in Switzerland to help with farm work—pulling carts, herding cattle, and being all-around gentle giants? 💪🐾

Despite their size, they’re known for their sweet, calm nature and their love for people (clearly, this one thinks she’s a lap dog 🐶❤️). Berners are incredibly loyal, affectionate, and make wonderful family companions—just be ready for some serious shedding and even more snuggles!

This sweet pup came in today and instantly brightened our whole clinic 🐾💛

Golden Retrievers are known for their friendly temperament, intelligence, and loyalty—making them one of the most popular family breeds in the U.S. 🇺🇸 They’re also incredibly social and thrive with regular exercise, mental stimulation, and of course… plenty of love and attention! 🦴🐶

Regular vet visits help keep their ears, joints, and heart in top shape—especially since the breed can be prone to ear infections and hip issues. 🩺💡

Got a Golden at home? Keep up with their wellness checks, stay on top of flea/tick prevention, and give them lots of hugs from us! 🐕💛

Say hello to Brynna, our amazing Vet Tech here at Animal Hospital of Humble! 🩺🐶🐱

💬 How long have you been working in veterinary medicine?
- 4-5 years 🗓️
💬 What inspired you to work with animals?
- I had 8 dogs in High School. My first job was at a doggy day care and I realized I wanted to work with animals 💙
💬 Do you have any pets of your own?
- 1 little kitty cat. Thormud. Rescued from my first job. 🐱
💬 What do you love most about your job?
/ I like the medical aspect of it. Seeing the different types of tests. Seeing a number on a screen and knowing what’s going inside a pets body is pretty cool. 😎

This sweet senior Lab reminded us today that age is just a number—especially when your tail’s wagging and your heart is full. 💛

Regular check-ups, joint support, and lots of love can help our older pets stay active and happy well into their golden years. We love seeing our senior patients thrive!

We applied to work at an animal hospital for the puppies and kittens. 🐶🐱

Now we’re covered in fur, holding down a 90 lb dog named Meatball, and getting hissed at by a cat named Princess Murdermittens. 💀

Post-surgery care is so important—especially for breeds like Dachshunds, who are prone to back issues like IVDD. Here are a few recovery tips to help your pup heal safely at home:

🩺 Limit activity – No running, jumping, or climbing stairs during recovery.
🛏️ Crate rest – A cozy, confined space helps prevent accidental injury.
💊 Medications – Stick to the prescribed schedule for pain meds and antibiotics.
💩 Watch for changes – Keep an eye on appetite, bathroom habits, and the surgical site.
