Grey triggerfish skin mount. The fish had been gutted, but I took on the project. Verychallenging. Gut area was molded in epoxy and re-sculpted. Not a colorful trigger, but I like that I was able to maintain my sanity recreating it.

Due to an unprecedented surge of requests for my fish taxidermy and replicas, I am suspending all future intake of orders until summer. Meanwhile, I will be working on finishing orders from 2025 and any I have agreed to in this first week of Jan. 2026. This is out of a necessity for maintaining the level of quality that my clients expect, in a reasonable time frame. I have every intention of resuming my intake of orders in the future. So you want to be a fish taxidermist? Here are a couple of 50 + inch longnose gar. Local guide plopped these on the kitchen counter for me to deal with. Yeah, right after breakfast. Fish were taken with arrows and so blood was a bigger issue than usual. Nex step, cut them open and remove every single bit of flesh. The fun begins😳

Just finished skinning this beauty. A pet Austrailian lungfish. Very different innards on this specimen. Will show a pic when mounted. These can live well over 100 years and have the largest genome of most living things.
