This sweet ole mare will be coming home next month. Another uvalde doll mare for my uvalde doll boys. I’m thinking Houdini in hopes of a hz foal, but if she’s 7 panel nn I’ll put her in with echo.

Moved Houdini and ginger to their new pasture.

Today I brought mares and foals in. Will be weaning in a couple days

2027 foal line up. All stud c**ts will be available. Most, if not all, filly’s will be retained.

Inspite of this drought everyone is holding up good. I do roll out a bale every other day, lick tubs and trace minerals. Mares and foals are doing well. Cows are too

Echo is 26 going on 27. I’m super impressed with this feed. For almost 2 years I’ve tried every kind of feed and supplement to help him gain and maintain his top line and muscling to no avail until I tried this. Granted I mix it will alfalfa or muggly pellets for added protein but after 45 days on it there’s an obvious improvement. 1 scoop twice a day. And he does have 1 copy imm that affects his top line.

The day I pulled jr from pasture. Once fencing is done I’ll have another pasture for him and his girls, Dolly, dreamer and nugget

Due to no fault of her own, the young man who traded me training for Jolene isn’t able to follow through with agreement due to lack of pasture and high hay prices. So she’s coming back to me. She’s bred to my friends stud “Boon” for a 2027 foal. If the resulting foal is a filly, Jolene will be available at weaning (I’m retaining filly). If she has a stud c**t, she will be available as soon as I get c**ts papers back from APHA.

She is hard to catch in big pastures but will come in with a bucket of grain or follow her buddy. She’s never been mean, just doesn’t know much. I got her back after selling as foal 2 going on 3 years ago. She’s shown a preference towards men over women but I think that could be over came. Once caught she’s ok with halter, being lead, has been trimmed in the past. Loads ok with patience. She’s available as I’m keeping her younger full sister who are my last two out of her dam Candy queen hickory and by munecostrashylilman.

Here’s the options for her

Jolene alone thirty five hundred
2n1 Jolene with c**t seventy five hundred
3n1 Jolene with c**t bred back to Munecos Pep Holly ten k.

Went to a local sale today to see my filly’s 1/2 brother sell. I was impressed that in-spite of this drought and high hay prices he brought good money. But my lil girl ain’t for sale. Sending off her registration papers tomorrow. 🤗
