Hacienda – Hugo, MN | Semi-Care Boarding Openings

Hacienda currently has a few boarding openings. Please read all details before inquiring.

We are a semi-care boarding facility. Every horse is provided a stall (box stall or tie stall); there is no option for pasture-only or no-stall boarding. This is the only boarding program we offer.

Herd & Daily Care
• Mixed herd of 11 horses
• AM feeding only
• Barn crew brings horses into stalls in the morning for grain/supplements, then turns them back out into the dry lot

Seasonal Turnout
• Fall/Winter:
• Horses are kept in the dry lot
• 24/7 access to grass round bales with feeder and hay net
• Winter (weather-dependent):
• Horses may be kept in overnight
• Barn crew sets up stalls and performs nightly checks
• Additional fee for horses kept in overnight by owner request
• Spring/Summer:
• 24/7 pasture turnout
• Two pastures rotated weekly to bi-weekly
• AM feeding continues

• Indoor and outdoor arenas
• Round pen
• Trailer parking

• Heated tack room
• Heated lounge with bathroom
• Paddocks available for an additional fee
• Winter blanketing available upon request

Staff
• Barn owner lives on-site
• Barn manager (also on-site trainer) present 6–7 days per week

Good Afternoon everyone!
Hacienda Ranch in Hugo, MN has a few rare stall openings. We have 1 box stall available (325/month) and three tie-stalls (300/month).

This includes a stall, being in with a small herd, grain 1x/day in the AM, 24/7 pasture during the summer, and 24/7 roundbale access when not on pasture.

Hacienda has automatic waters in the drylot, shelters in the drylot, indoor arena, outdoor arena, and roundpen. Option to keep your horse in at night for extra cost, trails about 5mins down the dirt road, shared tackroom with cubbies, trailer parking.

Hacienda is having some new changes to the facility!
There is an onsite trainer. Looking for c**t starting? basic lessons? barrel lessons? learning WSCA? or want a better connection with your horse? Chloe Veiman has many openings to help, just $25 an hour for lessons, and $300 a month for 4-5days of private work.
We are also intertwining our small herd into the big herd to have just one herd.
Hacienda has stalls for every horse, workers that come out to bring in and grain your horses.
During the summer horses are out on grass till 4:30, then brought in for grain and let back out to the dry lot with hay.
In the winter they are in the drylot with round bales, and brought in for grain in AM and PM, when temps drop under 30, they stay in at night.
Indoor, outdoor, and round pen on site.

This involves feeding, cleaning stalls, sweeping the barn and more.
