🐾Meet Mister Maverick!🐾

🐾Maverick gets so excited for walks and LOVES to use his nose!
🐾Maverick forgot his manners when he caught a good smell.
🐾Now Maverick knows he can sniff and adventure as long as the leash stays loose!

I am so proud of you Maverick! Keep up the good work! 🥰

✨ Say good job to Maverick! ✨

Not every dog needs to be friends with every dog, but being able to be neutral around other dogs is so important! 🐾

When we first started working on this, Jasper would lunge and bark at most dogs he saw. Instead of trying to make him friendly with other dogs, we worked on changing how he felt about having another dog around.

We started with lots of distance and slowly worked our way closer. Eventually, we were able to walk near him and even walk right up to him while he stayed calm!

The goal was never “you have to like this dog.” The goal was for Jasper to learn that he can see another dog, be okay with them being there, and not feel like he needs to react.

Jasper is still working on it, and his family is continuing the work with him on their own now, but he has already made so much progress! ❤️

Not every dog needs dog friends. Sometimes neutrality is the goal!

Have you ever seen a Lab NOT beg at the dinner table?! 😂

Dunkin has been working hard on his table manners, and look at him now! Instead of hovering, begging, or trying to score a bite, he’s learning to settle calmly while his family eats.🐾

Good boy, Dunkin! 👏

🐾Say Hello to Wyatt! 🐾

🐾 Wyatt started out our private lessons terrified of the car. He didn’t want to even get near a parked car.
🐾 With consistency from his parents, he now not only walks right up to the car, but gets in and goes for a ride!
🐾 Wyatt is proof that with a little confidence training and consistency from his parents, one of his biggest fears is now a joy!

🥰I am so proud of you Wyatt! Keep up the great work!

Two sessions. 👏🐾

After our first session, Max & Cody were already learning to walk on their own sides without pulling, but there was still a lot of wandering and figuring out where they were supposed to be.

After session #2… look at them! 🤩

Both boys walking calmly on their designated sides, staying with mom, and keeping those leashes loose.

They’re still learning, but this is some pretty awesome progress in only two sessions!

Small dogs deserve training too. 🤍
