Our goal is to raise healthy, well-tempered pups that conform to the standard of the breed. Our dogs are our babies and are an important part of our family. The pups are raised with lots of attention and socialization with both humans and animals. We currently have three miniature dachshunds in our breeding program:
- Piper, registered name Princess Piper III -- she is a short haired, black and ta
n piebald with heavy ticking, PRA clear, has been DNA tested.
- Porter, registered name RJ's Banzai Porter -- he is a short haired, black and tan, PRA clear, has been DNA tested.
- Pebbles, registered name Miss Pebbles Periwinkle -- she is a short haired, blue and tan. DNA results pending. Julie, the "J" in "RJ's" has over 12 years experience with breeding dogs. She previously had a successful breeding program for AKC alaskan malamutes. In the past year and a half, she made the decision to change her focus exclusively to a smaller breed, namely the miniature dachshund. Reuben, the "R" in "RJ's" has passed his love for dogs and, in particular, this breed on to Julie by introducing her to his son's mini dachshund, Moose.
