Sequel New York Follow Our Lead Established in 2000 by Sequel Bloodstock partners Becky Thomas and Lewis Lakin, the 223-acre Hudson farm opened as Lakland North.

Sequel New York has been a top nursery for New York-bred success stories and home of New York's premier stallion roster for over ten years and through three incarnations. Becky and Lewis, who owned nationally-ranked Kentucky sire City Zip, bred New York-bred national Champions Fleet Indian and Behaving Badly and Grade 1 winners Rightly So, Giant Ryan and Unbridled Command. After a hiatus of two ye

ars and inspired by the alternative gaming revenue, Becky and co-owner Dennis Narlinger reopened an upgraded facility in 2011 as Sequel Stallions New York. Of the 5 Grade 1 stakes winners born at Sequel, three - Giant Ryan (Freud), Franny Freud (Freud), and Rightly So (Read the Footnotes) - were sired by Sequel stallions. Becky and Team Sequel are proud to offer New York breeders this outstanding facility - already the home of 18 graded stakes winners/runners and are committed to serving their client's needs in every way.
