Bak is a 24-year-young Gypsy Vanner gelding with a puppy dog personality and one of the sweetest souls you will ever meet. He is the definition of safe, safe, SAFE — a true confidence builder and perfect for beginners.

This boy:
• Is excellent for the farrier and vet
• Absolutely loves attention (and yes… he will demand it 😄)
• Enjoys trail riding and gets along with everyone
• Has a calm, kind demeanor that makes him a barn favorite

Bak may be 24, but don’t let that fool you — he has so much love left to give and deserves a person of his very own ❤️

🔹 Important to know:
Bak does have anhidrosis, and while we are currently trying a new regimen, his future home must be prepared to manage this condition.

✔️ Ideal home options:
• A cooler northern climate with lower humidity
OR
• A Florida home with a cool, well-ventilated stall, fans, and a porta cooler setup

We will be very selective in choosing Bak’s adopter, because he deserves nothing less than the perfect match. I truly believe his person is out there — someone who will give him the love, comfort, and attention he’s been waiting for.

Stricker Sunshine Rescue Ranch is looking for dedicated, experienced horse lovers to join our team! This is a very special and unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of rescue horses.
This role is hands-on, physically demanding, and not for the faint of heart—but it is also incredibly rewarding for the right person.
🐎 About the Position
We are currently hiring for weekend shifts (may be split into two positions):
1st Shift: 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
There is potential for additional hours over time based on reliability and performance.
✅ Requirements
Horse experience is REQUIRED
Reliable, self-motivated, and hard-working
Gentle, patient, and confident handling (“soft hands”)
Must be comfortable working independently
Riding experience preferred
Basic handyman skills are a plus
🧹 Duties Include (but not limited to):
Stall and pasture cleaning
Feeding and hay preparation
Cleaning and filling water buckets/troughs
Grooming, bathing, and fly care
General barn and property upkeep
Assisting with horse handling and riding

Hedmora and hedmora and ameraucana mix. 1 bcm 1 ameraucana total…. 14 hens, 1 rooster looking for a new home .. I have a 3 coops and enclosed that all beed go as well. Lots of waters and feeders etc. You disassemble and haul 😎
