A huge congratulations to our May obedience training dogs Thor, Odie, and Laser Beam for completing their program at Arrowhead Kennels! 👏 We are so proud of all the hard work these dogs (and their owners!) have put in.

At the end of our training program you will have a well-behaved dog you can truly trust whether at home, out in public, or on exciting off-leash adventures together.

We teach basic obedience including off-leash place, recall, sit, and heel to help build confidence, freedom, and reliability.

We also spend time training the dogs together to work on socialization, appropriate play, and building confidence around other dogs in a structured environment.

Credit Card Processing Fee: Effective May 1, 2026

To help keep our boarding rates as low as possible while continuing to provide the best care for your dogs, we will be adding a small credit card processing fee to card payments.

• Stays up to 6 days: $2 fee
• Stays 7 days or more: $5 fee

We gladly accept cash or check payments with no processing fee.

To better serve our clients and continue providing quality dog camp and training services, our office will be closed to walk-ins Monday-Friday from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM while our staff is working with dogs.

Groups of dogs may be out on the property during this time. For safety reasons, we ask that you reach out to set up an appointment if you need to come during our closed hours. During this time, team members may not always be available to assist in person.

• 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

🌼 Meet Daisy 🌼

Daisy is a sweet, gentle girl looking for a new forever home after her owner became unable to care for her. She is approximately 6 years old and has a calm, loving nature that makes her an easy companion.

Daisy’s breed is a Mini Sheltie, and she appears to be housebroken. She is a joy to be around, walks beautifully on a leash, and also does well off leash, making her a wonderful partner for relaxed strolls or quiet outdoor time.

She would be an excellent match for someone who enjoys peaceful walks, a loyal presence by their side, or simply a dog to share everyday moments with. Daisy isn’t demanding, she’s content just being near her person and soaking up companionship.

If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate dog to add warmth and love to your life, Daisy could be the perfect fit. 🧡

📣 Important Update – Arrowhead Kennels 🐾

We wanted to share a few updates regarding our hours, pricing, and policies, effective January 1, 2026.

🕗 Drop-Off & Pick-Up Hours

Monday–Friday
• Morning: 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Afternoon: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Saturday
• 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Sunday
• 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

💲 Boarding Rates
• $35 per night (one dog)
• $55 per night for two dogs sharing one kennel

📅 Daily Charge Policy Will Remain The Same
• Dogs picked up before 11:00 AM (Monday–Saturday) will not be charged for that day.
• Sundays are always a charged day, as we do not open until 12:00 PM.

⏰ Outside-Hours Appointments
Need a drop-off or pick-up outside of our posted hours? We’ll do our best to accommodate by appointment only for an additional $15 convenience fee.
All outside-hours appointments must be scheduled in advance, as we will be running other services and caring for our boarding dogs outside of open hours.

🛁 Complimentary Bath
Dogs staying five (5) nights or more will receive a complimentary bath, if our staff is able to accommodate.

These changes help us continue providing great care, a clean and comfortable space, and plenty of attention for every dog staying with us. They also help us work toward offering additional services in the future, such as training, Dog Camp, and group classes.

We are very excited to announce and introduce you to the next owner of Arrowhead Kennels, Ally Lessman. This transition will take place in December. Ally currently runs The Ruff Outdoors dog camp, and brings great experience, knowledge and a passion and love for dogs to the business. She is excited to continue the hands-on care at Arrowhead, and continue our strong reputation for top quality boarding care. Ally will live on property to run the business, ensuring your dogs receive top care while boarding.
Many familiar faces will also remain present at the kennel, with our staff staying on to assist Ally. We will still be present often over the coming months as things transition. Nothing will change with your boarding care or reservation process. Hours could change slightly in 2026 for boarding drop off/pickup, but for now everything remains the same. We are confident in Ally’s future and this business, and hope all our loyal customers continue to trust Arrowhead Kennels with your dogs. Please reach out with any questions!
