Well deserved Both Off. Kate with K9- Filli aka (Lilly) and the Officers of Catskill Police department now have a K9-Team that they can count on to help them solve crime's and protect the residence of the Village of Catskill . Well It's Done, K9-Filli has a handler its Off. Kate Del Gandio ,First day of training yesterday going to be fun, all went well.
K9 -Filli has been training since March 14th 2025 with me, she is bringing a lot knowledge to her Police Department to keep the Officers and Residents safe in the town of Catskill .
Thankyou to Chief Dan Waer and the Village Board for making this happen and also all the Officer's and staff of Catskill Police Department.
I Tried very hard to make Hudson Police Department her home but that is a long story needs not to be in this post. I made a promise to Magen Filli and the kids that I would make this happen and the Lennihan Family who donated Filli. She did it.
Both Off. Del Gandio and K9-Filli which I will always call her out of respect of my friend SGT. Chris Filli, Badge #67 R.I.P.. God Speed , Chris is watching over you, make us proud Kate and Filli..
