We are trying to find a home for Buddy. The story about Buddy is in August 2024 one of our clients found him on the side of the road on a very hot day. He was very lethargic and dehydrated. She put them in the back of her car.
She kept him for for two weeks, trying to find an owner because he was well maintained and knew some basic manners and tricks. Nobody came forth to claim him, so she found somebody who could take care of him until she found a suitable adopter.
She then adopted him out to a neighbor. A few months later she received a call from the pound saying that he was there and somebody had given him up with very little food. She went to go pick him up, saw that he was underweight. She took him home and got him back up to a good weight. She had him for a little bit trying to find a good home for him.
Buddy is a 90 pound pity mix who is lovable and cuddly. He is the equivalent of a Velcro dog. He loves to play and does well with other dogs when properly introduced. Does seem to have some crate reactivity that has been worked on with Casper but still need some continued work to maintain. He does have some destructive behaviors like chewing up beds but if he has two toys, he’s good. He is crate trained and potty trained. He knows how to sit give me paw and is working on touch. He knows how to down if you point to the ground. He has decent leash manners and Casper has worked on that as well. He does have a massive fear of water that is being worked on. When Casper worked with him he got him to walk into a kiddy pool. But other than that, he’s a very sweet lovable dog. He’s up-to-date on his shot just had flea treatment done. He is fixed. He does have a microchip now. He will need some help with obedience and that is where Unleashed Dog Training has offered to give a free dog training course if you are interested in adopting this big boy. Casper has personally worked with him already to evaluate and assess him. He is a very fast learner and very food motivated. The sky is the limit with this guy. Make him your new addition to your family.
