SURPRISE!!!!
Ms. Hayzli Lou was born on November 1 at 8 lbs 3 oz. (Chunk!!!) and I am feeling pretty healed! 🤩

Although I am not promising anything for the future, I would like to test the waters and re-open my schedule to REPEAT clients only (no new clients at this time please!). So if you are a last minute planner (like me) this is your opportunity! 😂😂

I know that many are struggling with finding a groomer during this time so I want to offer this Sunday December 17 between 10-6 for BATH. dogs or FACE, FEET & TAIL dogs ONLY! I am unable to do a full haircut at this time as I will need to take a few breaks to feed the baby.

**Bath service includes: Shampoo, conditioner, ear cleaning, nail clipping/filing, toothbrushing, blow dry, brush out, perfume spritz & bandana/bow/bow tie!
**Face/Feet/Tail (FFT) service includes: all of the above PLUS shaving pads/sanitary, trimming around feet, face/head and tail.

The fam and I are FINALLY ON VACATION! 🌴

We made it to Florida yesterday and BBB will be closed until August 7 ! This week I will be answering texts/messages (slowly, so be patient 😉) but Sunday-Saturday I will be totally unplugged as the hubs and I enjoy our 6 year anniversary in the Virgin Islands 😍

Cracked Window Myth

K-9 Rico is sad when he hears our Community Service Officers or Patrol Officers responding to a call with a dog in a hot parked vehicle. According to the American Veterinary Medical Association, cracking the window isn't enough to keep the temperature of your car at a safe level. If your dog is distressed and at risk of severe injury or death, that cracked window will be shattered if that's what we need to do to save your pet's life.

It's going to be in the 90s this week. Don't leave your pet in your vehicle, window cracked or not. Leaving your buddy at home is safer, and we all love coming home to a wagging tail! If you must take your pet with you, use grocery pick-up or do it during the evening hours when it's dark.

You also need to think about your buddy's paws when taking them for a walk when the sun is blazing. Asphalt temperatures can be more than 50 degrees warmer than the air temperature. Four Paws International has a simple test you can do to make sure the ground is safe for your four-legged friend. Touch the back of your hand to the ground for seven seconds. If you can't hold it there for seven seconds, it's too hot for your dog's paws.

Update to scheduling for remainder of existing clients!

This baby girl is due beginning of November which means I will likely not be available last few weeks of October and will resume grooming again in January! Let’s get those appointments booked ahead of time (& strategically planned for the time I’ll be off unless you plan on getting them groomed elsewhere while I’m out!) The schedule will start filling up quick as school resumes in August!

So in about 14 weeks I will be unavailable. If your pup is on a 6-8 week schedule we can fit in about 2 more grooms (7 weeks each)! But these slots will fill quickly so please pre-book to ensure I can get you in!

Trying to decide which color to do on Gracie next… I shaved her down for summer so she’s nakey and could use a pop of color lol

Hi again!
So I feel like there was a lot of misunderstanding on my last post and I need to clarify a few things about closing. This has been a slow process that has been in effect for a few months, slowly letting go of my larger dogs and the majority of my clients that I know would be too difficult to groom during my pregnancy/after. If I have already spoke to you about continuing grooming for your pup then you are SAFE! The business will “fade out” naturally over the next few years, meaning the few pups I have decided to keep I have kept because they will either be moving soon, I know they may not do well with another groomer, or with my seniors I will continue grooming them until they eventually pass away. So please don’t think that I would ever just shut down the business without letting you know, personally! (If you are confused please reach out!) I would also never just cancel your appointment without telling you 😆 I am busy, but never that busy! Haha
So please, if you have a future appointment with me, know that I plan to be there!! I love all of your pups so much and I am sad to close, but know that I’m not closing immediately. 🩵🤍

Sorry I have had an absent presence for so long… we’ve been keeping a big secret (although a lot of you already know!) 😆
Our Mitchell tribe will be welcoming a baby girl in November! Due to the pregnancy and life in general we have made the tough decision to decrease my clientele to only a small handful of pups and eventually (over time) close Biscuits, Bubbles & Bows completely. This was such a heartbreaking decision for me as grooming is my passion. However, right now I need to focus on our family and this pregnancy and not feel overloaded with life. 🩵 *I have most likely already let you know if I am able to keep your pup or if I had to refer them elsewhere!!
I am beyond grateful for all of the pups I have had the pleasure of grooming over the past 7 years and all of the amazing owners I’ve gotten the chance to meet and help educate. I wish I could feel confident enough referring you all to a specific grooming salon in a centralized location but unfortunately I have not found anything comparable yet. I will keep searching and definitely let you all know when I find a good one!
Meanwhile, if y’all have had any great experiences elsewhere please feel free to share down below the name of the salon and your experience! I’ve had so many inquiries so let’s help each other during this tough transition.
