I sat down “just to make a few,” and suddenly I had a whole box packed full of finished toys ready for the show this weekend! From shredders to foragers to all-natural chews, they’re freshly made and ready for your birds and small animals.

❄️ Winter Update from Boogie’s Exotics ❄️

As I’m catching up on current orders, I wanted to let everyone know that I’ll be sporadically closing my woodshop through the winter. When we get those occasional 40–50° days, I’ll be able to work on and fulfill some smaller orders …otherwise, the shop will stay closed until things warm up again.

I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding, it’s hard to make toy parts without fingers! 🥶🖐️

We’ve had a lot of inquiries asking if we will ever sell quail as feeders recently. We will not be offering them as feeders at any point. My mission is to really show what fun and engaging pets they really are. We do not knock anyone that would like to provide this option but we are breeding for pet quality and to bring joy to families that want to learn more about these amazing little guys. 🥰

We had an amazing time at the Cin City Reptile Show this weekend — you all completely sold us out of button quail and eggs, and bought up so many toys! We can’t thank you enough for the support, the great conversations, and community. 💕

We’ll be restocking soon, so keep an eye out for updates! We do still have a few single male button quail looking for homes. I am looking to find some more females to help sell them in pairs so stay tuned for next month. If you are interested in the males feel free to send us a message! 🦜 🐦

Working on new toys for the upcoming Cin City Reptile Show this weekend! 🦜✨
I’m especially excited about these pictured below — they’re designed for medium-to-large birds who aren’t heavy wood chewers but love to shred! This mix offers just the right balance of textures and might even encourage them to take on some of the bigger wood pieces.

I love creating toys that challenge my bigger birds and help keep their beaks in great condition — plus, it keeps them busy and happy!
