Having been in business for greater than 60 years, you can be rest assured that our veterinarians and staff are highly trained and prepared to take on the most complicated of medical cases. Here at Midwest Vet, we strive to provide the same high quality medicine you would find at a specialty practice without the sticker shock afterward; meanwhile always providing excellent customer service and support. Our doors are open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and Saturday 8am to 12pm (noon). Can you believe this beautiful girl had 15 puppies! Mom (Evelyn) is doing great. With the help and supplemental bottle feeding from her awesome owner, puppies are all doing fantastic also.

Just a heads up, we are definitely seeing flea and tick activity on both cats and dogs this spring. Would be a great time to get your pets started on your preventative of choice! It's important to keep the fleas/ticks our of your home and protect your pets from the diseases that those pests carry!

You can now request appointments online! For now, we are limiting it to routine, vaccine appointments only while we test the system. You will need to go through a one time process of setting up your pet portal page but once set up, you will forever be able to request appointments, communicate with doctors via texting, update pet information, see pet medical and vaccine history, etc. Use the link below to set up your pet portal and request an appointment :)

Good day to you all! You may start noticing text messages coming through with reminders of upcoming appointments or vaccination due dates for your pets. We are in the process of upgrading our communication software to become more versatile. Please be patient with us as we go through the initial setup and adjustment phases. Eventually, we'll be able to offer an online pet health portal, online appointment requests, two way texting, reminders, prescription refills, digital surgery/boarding consent forms, online bill pay, etc. So we are very excited for it's potential but as with any upgrade, there will likely be snags along the way.

This little cutie was found roaming the cemetary in Hubbard with no identification. Hoping to find her owner asap. Please call clinic or city hall if you recognize her.

We will have limited hours on Saturday June 22nd. We will only be open 8am to 10am and both doctors will be unavailable for emergencies Saturday afternoon. If you have an emergency, we recommend calling ISU emergency services. Have a great weekend!
