Meet Andy (light spots) and Lloyd (dark spots), a darling bonded duo who are as sweet as they are speckled. These two may start off shy, but once they trust you, their playful, cuddly personalities shine through.

This past Saturday was their first time out at an event and while they were a little shy, they were certainly curious and you could tell they wanted to figure it out and make friends. Those patient enough to take a little time were quickly rewarded with their attention.
Lloyd is initially a little braver. Both do well with other dogs after a proper introduction. They are in a home with a cat but seem a bit too curious and are separated. They are ok with other kids.
Both Lloyd & Andy do well on a leash, in the car, and are crate trained.
We think they are terrier mixes weighing in at about 11 lbs, around 2.5 years old.

Breaking Happy Tails news! Congratulations to Fiona (fka Diva) and her fur-ever family. Fiona had to go to the dreaded heartworm treatment in her foster-to-adopt home. Now that she is healthy, the adoption is official. Thank you for giving her a home to heal. Here is what Fiona's mom wrote about her:

I had started looking for another small dog after my Lucy passed away. A neighbor who had adopted a few chihuahuas from you recommended you to me. I filled out an application and watched the site. When I saw Diva in the Wonder Woman costume, I knew she was the one. I was allowed to foster to adopt, and I chose to do it. We fell in love with her joyful and playful personality immediately.

The "fancy" collar in one of the pictures was my husband’s solution to the cone she kept pulling off. It worked better than the onesie. She’s a hot mess, and we adore her🥰I chose to rename her Fiona, after an Irish fairy princess, because, well, she’s a princess 🥰.

We have dogz of all sizes, temperaments, and ages. Please consider becoming their superheroes. A happy pupdate from Daisy (fka Sunny Bunny), who recently got adopted. She is living the little princess life that suits her so well. She is oh so fashionable with her girlie collars. Her new mom writes:

Oh, Daisy has been a big blessing. I have a small addiction problem!! She has a "few" different collars! We already have a peep one for Easter!🤣Watermelon for summer and a Lilly Pulitzer style. With the collars, I have to pace myself!🤣🤣 I switch them out with every bath.
I have never seen eyes like hers before, and the little brown snout. Daisy loves going to the park.

We think that the various collars are so cute! We love receiving pupdates that show that our alumni are so loved and living their best lives. Adopters, please keep sending pictures and pupdates of the alumni. They motivate us to keep going. Hopefully, someone will be inspired and look at our available doggies at https://polkadogz.org/adoptables/that are still wishing upon a star that their fur-ever family will give them love and a home. Little Bass did not join us yesterday becauss he was healing up from his neuter.
Instead of a cone, he donned something far more stylish.
He is a Chihuahua mix, around 6 months old and under 10 lbs. He is playful with other dogs and an all around sweet puppy.

Breaking Happy Tails news! Congratulations to Cliff (he kept his name!) and his pawrents. This spunky little guy found the perfect family to live happily ever after. Here is what they say about him:

Our Cliff does have the biggest heart. He is adjusting so well here! He loves to play and snuggle, and he’s been going on lots of walks and visits to the dog park.
He’s super sweet to everyone he meets and has been taking on the challenge of going up and down the stairs!

His favorite toys are his balls and a walrus that we got him. He’s just the sweetest, cutest little guy - absolutely adorable. He runs and prances around the house, loving to be rewarded with treats. We love him with all our hearts, and he is the perfect addition to our family ☺️

alert for Izzy girl (she was Mariah at Polka Dogz, she is the light tan puppy in the pictures). Her family is in love with this little girl! They shared the following with us:

We are coming up on our one-year gotcha day, and we love our girl so much! Izzy is the most lovable dog ever, showers everyone she meets with kisses, is the best cuddler, thinks she runs the household with her sassy pants, loves doggy daycare days, and loves walks with her brother Brim! We are so thankful to be her humans!
