It’s me, Pamela, again. I got a break from the rescue today and I had such a great time. I listened to Melanie when she told me to stay away from the shoes. Ooh they were so tempting but I redirected and picked up a real toy instead. She said I was such a good girl. I played, I got along with her dogs and was a total love.

Sadly, it was only a break from the rescue and I have to go back. I really want to live in a house with a family. My puppies all got adopted but I’m left behind. They all have wonderful homes…don’t I deserve one too? ~ Pamela

Hey there. It’s me, Coyote, again. If you haven’t read about me, let me put this out there first. I’m paralyzed. From the photos I look like any other dog…and I am except for being paralyzed.

Yesterday, my foster mom was feeling under the weather so I snuggled with her… all day long. When she moved, I moved - closer. I just wanted to give her as much support as I could. Frankie (aka the ultimate nut-case, formerly Ferrero) has finally found his tribe - a family with two tiny humans to drive him bonkers and snuggle him into oblivion! They're obsessed with him (same, tbh) and report that he's living his best life: binge-watching cartoons on his favorite couch, kid-snuggling, and even tolerating early morning strolls. We were there when they first met him at a PetSmart adoption shindig. It was love at first sight (or should we say, love at first sniff?)!

My name is Pamela. You may think I look like any other nondescript shelter dog. That’s what most people think. But if you took the time to meet me you would see my personality shine through. The people here at Polka Dogz say I’m the sweetest girl.

I’m still a very young lady but I’ve already had puppies. I came from the shelter with them. As you can expect, they have all been adopted leaving me behind. Moms are always the last to go. So I sit here, waiting for a home of my own with no one interested. It’s just not fair but I won’t pout and feel sorry for myself. I’ll just wait another day until someone realizes what a gem I am and how happy I can make them.

Hey everyone. It’s me, Coyote, AGAIN. I bet you thought I’d be adopted by now. Me too but it didn’t happen. My foster mom felt so badly she took me on an outing to my favorite place…Margaritaville. Actually, it may be her favorite place but I always make a lot of friends here too.

In case you didn’t know, I’m a great traveler. I’ll go just about anywhere you want to go and I’m happy to meet everyone and make new friends. At night (or anytime during the day), I’ll snuggle up so close I almost become part of your body.

You may think caring for a paralyzed pup like me is difficult. I won’t lie, it requires a little extra work but honestly, I do everything a non-paralyzed pup does. I play with toys. I snuggle. I walk (just in a wheelchair). I scoot along the floor just as fast as the other dogs in my foster home. I chase lizards. Given the chance, I will escape right out the front door just like any other dog. So don’t think I’m disabled…I’m totally not. I’m just paralyzed.
