Ours is the only shelter in our county for both cats and dogs. We are funded by donations, and pay for our veterinary care and medications. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, with all donations being tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law."

Meet Ivory! 🐾
This sweet 2-year-old Lab mix is ready to make a splash in your heart 💦❤️

Ivory is as loving as she is playful — she lives for her toys and can’t resist a good romp in the water! 🐶🎾 Whether it's a kiddie pool, a cool dip in a stream or a lake day, she's your perfect adventure buddy.

Ivory was part of a rescue from a house where she lived in deplorable conditions. When she first came to the shelter, she was shy and standoffish. As she has gotten more comfortable here and trusting of the staff, we’ve gotten to see what an amazing, sweet dog she is. Her gentle nature and joyful spirit makes her the kind of dog who’ll make every day in her new home a little brighter. 🌞

These photos are from a Dogs’ Day Out that Ivory had with one of our staff members She went for a long walk along the creek, played in the water, played in a playyard and got a pup cup to cool off after all of her playing.

🚨SNEAK PEAK 🚨
These ADORABLE puppies are currently in a in a home and will be at the shelter this Saturday from 1pm-3pm for viewing. They are 2 month old Rottweiler mixes (mom and dad pictured below) They are SUPER sweet and well socialized. If you’re interested in adopting, we heavily suggest filling an application out in advance as we’re hoping to have applications processed so they can go home ON Saturday. We do NOT run on first come first serve and will evaluate all applicants.

What a great day for pupsicles!! On hot days where we limit yard/walking time, our dogs enjoy yummy enrichment that keep them busy as well as hydrated!
It’s super easy to do at home!
All you need is cups, water/broth, and whatever goodies your dog likes! It can be as simple as a little peanut butter and water!
