Typical of the tough winter we are experiencing, more than not, many of the dogs we walk at Pet Watchers Plus Livingston County/Waterford, now wear coats. Just like kids, we need to get them properly attired. Pictured is Trina, a wonderful 80 lbs, Lab Rottweiler of Whitmore Lake that we walk daily, show is sporting her rather colorful winter coat!

As the owner of two rescued Dogs, I have a soft spot for those who rescue pets and one of my favorites is Magee and Tim Humes of White Lake Michigan and client of our Pet Sitting firm Pet Watchers Plus Livingston County (www.petwatchersplus.com). Magee is marketing director of 60 year old Michigan Animal Rescue League (www.michigananimalrescueleague.org) in Pontiac and likes to take her work home in the form of abused pets. For the second consecutive year we watched her three Dogs Bodii, wonderful Lab Mix, Scruffy, a terrier mix, and Sparkie, a Chihuahua, who was rescued out of a party store in Pontiac. A year ago, wll were shy and a bit skitterish. But this year, they have all adapted and are friendly as can be. Rescue a dog or can you will have a friend for life!

Say hello to Trina, an 80 lbs beautiful three year old Rottweiler and Lab Mix. I walk Trina daily and she is a real sweetie, but she always gets excited when she sees another dog. More than not, though the neighborhood has a leash law for its dogs, other dogs are running loose and their owners always say "don't worry my dog is friendly," and I am thinking Trina outweighs your dog by 70 lbs...so I am not too worried about Trina.

Say hello to Zoey, a three year old Schnoodle from Hartland MI and new client of our company Pet Watchers Plus Livingston County Waterford (www.petwatchersplus.com). We watched Zoe and her sister Evie and their kitty. Zoey was a bit stand offish at first, but warmed up, and Evie was my cuddle dog from the start. The Kitty just wanted to escape outside.

Say hello to Honey, an eight year old boxer and one of our Pet Watchers Plus Livingston County Waterford clients. Honey is a real sweetie and both my sister Jan and I spend nights with Honey when her owners are out of town since she loves to snuggle.

Pet Watchers Plus Livingston County/Waterford added a new service today...walking dogs in a Wedding. Jason and Holly Peters of Fowlerville, MI were married today at Lakeland Country Club in Pinckney and they wanted their dogs Marley and Jackson in the ceremony. So, Pet Watchers Plus was on hand to handle the two dogs, handoff to the Groom who walked them down the Isle, and then pose them for pictures and greetings from guests. Both Dogs were well behaved...and ceremony was beautiful. www.petwatchersplus.com
