Clipped a few babies today! Not for sale. I am retaining most of my does this year. I do have their mommas for sale!

As my son enters into his senior year, I am going to let a few does go. These are all wether genetics and have recently weaned kids from them. All good functional udders, excellent mothers that raise all their kids, kid unassisted. Ages range from 3-5 years. (Turning that age this year) Only one is 5. 3️⃣*️⃣*️⃣ each. Located Heavener, Ok

I know I had a few people asking me for wethers, but I can’t find the messages. I don’t have many this year. This one has been moved to the doe pen cause I needed his pen for a buck, so he is a tad bit fuller than he would normally look.

Deposit made and pending pickup

With my son entering into his senior year I know longer need Screamer. Screamer is a 2022 buck I purchased from Stacy Showgoats. He is a flush kid out of Whistle and a barncat I40 bred doe. He is moderate in size and packs a lot of muscle. He is an easy keeper, doesn’t tear up fences or housing. He is not aggressive. Leads somewhat (not great). I haven’t wormed him in over a year maybe longer. I am posting pictures of him and his offspring. I am also posting pictures of him when he was not quite a year old. Descriptions of him under photos. We are currently weaning a few babies. Probably post them for end of May or first of June. I will also have a second set that I will wean in a few weeks.

I wanted to reflect back on this young family, I had the pleasure to meet them this past year. This past year was a very tough year for us as a family so I didn’t get to be as active with the show families like I wanted to. This family purchased a last minute wether from us and I had the pleasure of following them in their journey through their Facebook posts. I didn’t sell them the doe but was proud just the same to see their hard work with her as well. Their work ethic and dedication was truly a blessing to see. Even though I didn’t get to be there in person to encourage them I wanted to say I am proud of them! They both Jason and Bella made premium sale with their goat projects.

Wanted to brag on Sarah Moore and her crew at Houston. She took several head and placed with several on her first trip to Houston. Among those was her percentage doe Lockhart Farms Cruising Ta Fame aka “prairie” I believe is what her barn name is. Ta Fame placed 5th in her class.
