ALLERGY ALERT!

Is your pet scratching more than usual?

Flea allergy dermatitis is one of the most common skin
conditions in dogs and cats. Flea saliva can cause
intense itching, hair loss, redness, and secondary
infections. Year round parasite prevention is recommended.

Food allergies is also very common and the culprit is usually a protein, although some root vegetables such as sweet potato can likely cause a reaction.

Environmental allergies can be seasonal or year round and common triggers are pollen, mites and household supplies.

If you notice any of the symptoms listed here, speak with your Vet at your pet's next check up!
