Five years… in the past years I’ve talked about not believing in ghost, but having my mom’s ghost sneak up on me through smells, tastes, and moments. I still can’t leave a dish out without wondering if she is going to pop in and wash it….

I’ve talked about how time does heal all wounds, but the scars are there for ever. That is not necessarily bad, it’s a reminder of a bad moment, but when the pain fades, it can remind you of all the good moments too.

These memories popup every year, and every year I tear up. But every year I think back on her always taking care of everyone, always being sure we were ok, always there…

I’m not sure how to end this post, except to say, I love you mom, and I miss you.

Thanks for teaching to not be afraid to !
