After such a hot and annoyingly warm Houston winter, the"winter" flowers are starting to burst into life!!! Flowers will be available and once the seasons gets going in a week or two!

As a flower farmer, we are at the mercy of our weather and planting times. I have several fatmer friends who don't have any blooms this week. And I have other farmer friends whose tulips exploded due to the heat!

Our field is still in bud. I had hoped to have a ton of flowers for Valentine's Day from our own field. But the flowers are still two weeks away.

However, the Lord is gracious and he gave me the first ranunculus of the season this morning! Just a little reminder of his faithfulness.

If you are also in a season of waiting - for a job, for a beloved, for health - be encouraged. It may seem to take too long, but it will happen in God's good timing.
