We scored a fantastic 2 for 1 deal at Baytown Animal Shelter when we welcomed Ruth Bader Ginseng into our rescue.

Prudence, weighing just 22 lbs, is a vibrant five-year-old ready to thrive. After overcoming a severe respiratory infection, she's now enjoying her foster home, loving every moment with the kids and snacking on treats they leave behind.

While Prudence is heartworm positive, she's on the path to completing treatment and will soon be ready for her forever home.

Meet Aurora 💗This sweet girl was found as a stray, suffering from severe burns that covered her entire back. Despite the trauma she’s endured, Aurora’s a love bug, and she’s been healing each day. 🖤

Unfortunately, she is also heartworm positive, and her road to recovery is far from over.

We are reaching out to our community for help. Your donations will go directly towards covering the costs of her treatments, and any amount will make a HUGE difference in getting Aurora the care she desperately needs.

Congratulations Persephone (now Sofie)! Pictured here with her family!

We are so thankful to her family, who are former fosters and adopters! Persephone was turned in to a local Kennel facility by a unhoused gentleman that could no longer care for her. We didn't know that she has severe separation anxiety (which led to several torn up crates and a damaged wooden door). But through it all, her family stuck by her and she now gets to go on family trips. Best life EVER!
