Let’s give a round of apaws for EMMA!! 🐾🐾🐾🐾 This month is Emma’s 3rd year with us and we are honored to have her as our Lead Technician. Emma has been a huge inspiration and asset to veterinary medicine for 20+ years. When Emma isn’t side by side with the doctors and educating clients, she’s spending time with her husband, 2 children, and adorable grandson. You can also find Emma participating (and CRUSHING IT 💪🏾) in dog water sport including dock diving, FastCAT, and lure coursing with her fur baby Rhage 🐉. Rhage and Emma have won multiple awards and championships! Just check out these amazing pictures!!! Put your paws for Emma!!

Kidney (or renal) disease is very common in dogs and cats, and it may be reversible or permanent based on underlying causes. The disease could be a result of age-related changes to the kidneys, acute injury or toxin ingestion, congenital defects present from birth, or in rare cases, a side effect of some medications. To prevent kidney disease or slow its progression, it's vital to stay regular with wellness visits so that together, we can monitor renal levels with blood work and urinalysis and catch any changes ASAP.
