We are in immediate need of the community to support us to make it through this winter so we don’t have to close our doors to helping others -

Due to our founder having a major health crisis the last few months, we have been knocked off our feet again & we need your support to keep our rescue horses cared for this winter so we can continue sharing them with families & people in need!

Immediate needs are FUEL HAY & Volunteers!
Please text us at anytime to learn how to help 346-309-5458 or click the button below to DONATE!

All donations are a tax write off using our EIN number 🙏

The horses are currently located in Houston Texas; on Almeda Genoa Rd.

We will be moving them someplace else soon as the property they’re on has been foreclosed on & we weren’t told about it, I had to find it out myself when I accidentally found it online looking at foreclosed land for sale.

These horse have helped dozens of children, teens; and adults including my own to heal from mental health challenges, Autism Spectrum Disorders, trauma, stress etc. They deserve only the best care which is why we are asking for your help! Please SHARE our post!

Any negative comments will be removed. We do our best to take care of these horses & train them to share with people, the community NEEDS what we are doing. Help us continue helping by giving back this Holiday season!

I guess it’s time to introduce the world to our newest herd member, “Siah” the second and last son to our Proud Cut Gelding “Susan’s Burnt Toast At The Apollo” aka Apollo - who was born & raised with us as offspring between our other Proud Cut Gelding - Our Colombian Paso Fino “Susan’s Mr Sir Cisco” aka Cisco x Susan’s Dolly Parton aka Dolly our Pinto Egyptian Arabian Mare.

We are so in love! He looks exactly like our heart horse in Heaven SONYA - see the 1st pic of Sonya to compare them! Just as Sonya did, Siah’ will teach so many lucky families and he will heal so many sad hearts as a therapy horse & lesson horse for the community. Students get to be a part of all his training!

Fun fact. Proud Cut Gelding can refer to a horse who was a Stallion - an intact male, stud etc, that was neutered later in life, particularly after breeding

Ask us about how your WHOLE family can learn to ride together!

Our 3 yr old student learned to ride first, then her mom joined, and then her dad joined too!

We are SO proud 🥲 of our 4 year old home bred & raised Apollo who now teaches ANYONE to ride! From kids, to parents, even grandparents! We are able to put anyone on him & he is so patient & gentle with them!

Apollo is pictured with his Mother Dolly here. We rescued Dolly as a yearling, raised her & trained her, then when she had her son Apollo he was raised & trained with the help of my kids & our students. And this week he got to teach our 3 yr old students parents to ride! Within minutes they were off the lead line and riding around our Grass riding arena by themselves & practicing obstacles! Way to go everyone! 🙌👏🤩

I love the affection Apollo gives me at the end of a long day! We had a lot of fun at our last “Beach Day” - working on a video to post to share how we train our horses to take us into the water 🥰💜

This is a great read!

Reins are NOT your brakes when riding your horse - they also aren’t your steering wheel.

They are much like brakes & steering wheels, but to ride correctly using reins more than you use your SEAT, EYES, ENERGY, and FEET to turn & stop your horse, then you are actually misusing the reins.

A horses mouth is extremely sensitive, as is their Face if you’re using a side pull or bit-less bridle.

A horse's mouth is extremely sensitive due to the presence of a high number of nerve endings. While the exact number is not specified, it is described as containing "millions" of nerve endings. These nerve endings are found in various sensitive areas of the mouth, including the hard palate, the bars (the area between the incisors and molars), and the tongue. The tongue itself is a muscle that cushions the mouth and is crucial for bit function.
The sensitivity of the mouth is a significant factor in horse training and riding, as bits, which are placed in the horse's mouth, can cause pain if not fitted and used correctly. The pressure from the bit, especially in the interdental space (the area between the teeth), can be a source of discomfort or pain for the horse. This is why understanding and managing bit pressure is important for the horse's welfare & performance”
