This past weekend was a great one for Los Encinos Team! 🎉 🏅
We took home the FEI High Point Champion – Open both days, and on Sunday, we also earned the FEI Reserve Champion title.
All four horses showed the progress of their training in the show ring! 🤩

“Cantinero Los Encinos” ridden by Jorge Arauz, continues to demonstrate his talent and exceptional willingness. Our Homebred got🥇 on the first day in Prix St. Georges and 🥇on the second day in Intermediate I, earning the 🏆FEI High Point Champion – Open both days!

“Nordeste,” ridden by Madison Barker, made his debut at Second Level. They did a great job and showed a lot of potential in the show ring.

Our student, Shawna Alexander, and her mare “Whrigley” made great progress in their Fourth Level test, 🥇winning the Amateur class. On the second day, they had a clean Prix St. Georges test.

And last but not least, “Marques” and Jorge debuted in Intermediate II, receiving many 8s and very positive comments from the judges — earning the 🏆FEI Reserve Champion title and getting us very excited for his future!🏅🏅

🎊And with this amazing article we MAKE IT OFFICIAL!!🎊 Jorge and Cantinero qualified for SICAB 2024! The World PRE Championship that takes place in Seville,Spain! They will be competing in the 7-Year-Old Young horses division!!
🐴We are so proud of our homebred and the places he is taking us! 🎉

Hacienda Los Encinos is SO proud of our team of horses and riders that represent us in USDF Region 9 Championships SWDC and GAIG!!

Results:

🏆London Do Vouga and Jorge Arauz Dressage won both GAIG and SWDC Championships in Intermediate II🥇 🥇 owner Dulce Diaz Borjas.

🏆Marqués DC and Jorge won the SWDC in Fourth level 🥇with a score of 69.16%

Cantinero Los Encinos our 7yr old participate in both championships in PSG. Did not have his best weekend, apparently his youth and being his second show in PSG got him too excited, but even though he had some beautiful moments. He is young and we know he has a great future coming.

Last but not least, our new client Shawna and her PRE Yuste competed in the Third level championships having some very nice moments and with room for improvement, they placed 5th🍾

🏆Festival of Champions 2024🏆 An amazing experience!
Cantinero Los Encinos and Jorge ended up 4️⃣th place‼️in the Overall National Championship FEI 7 years old division.
On the second day, they did a beautiful Final test that propelled them into 4th place with a score of 72.32%, being less than one point away from the top 3!!! (Yes,it was a very tight scoring that made everything just so exciting 🙈)

Being so close to the medals made us very proud, specially with an Iberian horse competing against warmbloods.
The most rewarding thing to us was all the nice things that the judges said about Cantinero, and how our special Cantinero managed to transmit so much to the spectators and judges✨✨

It’s been a roller coaster of emotions and new experiences! We are so grateful our homebred Cantinero and rider Jorge came up on the TOP SIX for the FEI 7yo Preliminary test at the Dressage Nationals, getting 5th place with a score of 70.83%.
Cantinero stole some hearts and truly shined in the show ring! 🥹

We are also humble for all the support we have received 💙 thank you everyone! Your comments and support really give us motivation and happiness🤍

Now we are getting ready for the Final test tomorrow!!! Cantinero is being extra spoiled🥰

We are very excited to announce that Cantinero Los Encinos and Jorge Arauz have been invited to the USEF Young horse Dressage National Championships to compete in the 7-year-old division!
Cantinero is the only Iberian horse qualified in the 4 divisions of Young horses!
We are just amazed that our homebreed is the only Iberian out of 60 horses!

This is the result of the dedication, hard work, quality of a breeding program and team effort behind this pair!

GSEC Memorial Day classic show was full of blue and tricolor ribbons for Los Encinos team.

The binomial Cantinero Los Encinos and Jorge Arauz won the two days in the FEI 7yo Young horse, getting a 73.48% in the Final test.

Marqués DC also fought his way to first place both days in fourth level test 3. With strong competition in that class Marques and Jorge demonstrated their strength and got their personal best score being a 73.05%.

And last but not least London Do Vouga, owned by Dulce Diaz Borjas, got to show for his first time Intermediate 1. Making us very proud and proving he is ready and getting scores in the high sixties and winning FEI Champion the first day and reserve Champion on the second day.
As always we are extremely grateful for all the support and great sponsors and friends! It was such a fun show! Next one in two weeks 🙌🏻

After starting the 2024 show season in Wellington, HDS Spring classic was our first show of the year in our home Texas and it was amazing!

🏆Legionario and Jorge won on the second day FEI High Point Champion Open with a beautiful PSG test.

🥇 Marques won both days in Fourth level test 3.

🥇 Dulce Diaz Borjas showed on Saturday her beautiful stallion London Do Vouga, they got their personal best score, with some 8’s 🤩 taking the win!

And our homebred Cantinero Los Encinos left us amazed with both performances in the FEI 7yo test getting first place on Friday and second on Saturday.

Incredible grateful for Los Encinos team and the people that support us! 💙

Proudly sharing this accomplishment after 4 years of Luzon CDP being in Los Encinos under the training of Jorge Arauz since he was 4 years old. Now that he is 8 he achieved this award. Congratulations to his breeder and owner Cheryl D Person and thank you for trusting in our training and support.

Haras Fall Dressage show was so fun and full of new achievements!
Our trainer Paulina got her silver medal, riding Vernalis in PSG placing third both days!

London Do Vouga owned by Dulce did his first PSG, winning his class 🥇 very proud of this talented stallion that has come a long way! Dulce also show him for her first time in 4th level, doing a very nice test placing third.

Luzon CDP show again how settle and the superstar he is! Winning both days in I-1, With lovely tests! Getting the first day high point FEI Champion and the second day Reserve Champion!✨Luzon CDP it’s for sale to an approved home.

We had Antonio Cid from the Royal Andalusian School of Jerez with us, and as always, it was amazing! To see and feel how the horses have improved with his guidance is just incredible.

We had a great show before regionals!✨
All horses demonstrated that hard work and dedication pays off.
“Legionario DC” made his debut at fourth level, getting his highest score of 72.5%, taking the first place in their class.

“London Do Vouga” owned by Dulce Diaz Borjas did a very correct and clean test at fourth level with Jorge Arauz and the second day Dulce show him for first time in a recognized show on third level and they had a lot of fun!! London is getting more and more confident in the ring and we love to see his great progress 🤩

“Marques DC” did really nice tests both days! Winning their class the second day 🏆
