Our animal cruelty investigators rescued 23 dogs and 3 cats from a hoarding situation on a property in Chambers County. One dog was emaciated, flea-ridden, and suffering in heartbreaking conditions no animal should ever endure. After living without proper care for far too long, they are now safe and receiving the urgent compassion and medical attention they desperately need. 💔🐾

Our Story

Established in 1924, the Houston SPCA’s Campus For All Animals serves as the leading animal protection and rescue organizations in the country with the ability to care for the broadest range of animal species, types of abuse and injury, and magnitude of large-scale, multiple-animal cases – all in one location. They provide rescue and care for companion animals, horses and farm animals, and exotics while Houston SPCA’s Wildlife Center of Texas receives over 11,000 wild animals comprising over 360 species each year. The Houston SPCA impacts more than 50,000 animals each year, from owner-surrendered pets to found, rescued and displaced animals. We’re here to help animals in need—no matter how they get here.
