So excited about our meditation pasture 🫶🙏

Huge thanks to Peter with Hostetler Unlimited LLC for fitting us into his schedule this morning and making the shaded area horse safe (as well as cleaning up the overgrown driveway) 🙌

Breathwork, sound, energy & yoga sessions with the horses will soon move into this area! We are excited to share this space more people & will be working our way down the wait list soon...

When you're the crazy horse lady, who works with the horses no matter what the weather's doing, and loves to expose them to as many different things as possible, while also making sure you are properly caffeinated... you go for a walk in the rain with this hunk, to the coffee truck on the corner! So proud of this guy and the progress he is making 🩷 going to talk to Blonde Shot Coffee about an alfalfa latte for the fall menu 🤣🩷🐴☕️🌧

After a couple weeks off for (never-ending) rain, we are excited to bring yoga back to the farm in the morning and invite you to join us!!

RSVP is required to hold your spot, so please DM AmyMichele Jones to check availability. Cost is $20 for this hour long restorative yoga session and all levels are welcome to join us!

Blonde Shot Coffee will be on the farm for those that need to caffeinate before, or want to join us after 🩷☕🐴🙏

Leatherman Lane farm in Concord, NC is looking for help every other Saturday & every Sunday...

This is not easy work, and you won't get rich doing it! But if you love being around horses, making a little cash, learning something new & being part of a great team, we want to meet you!

We do things a bit differently here, so you'll need to be willing to learn how/why we do things like feed, manure management, etc. We will pay you while we're teaching you & increase that once you are signed off to work alone.

Please send an email ([email protected]) with your horse care experience or DM owner AmyMichele Jones directly with any questions you may have & to set up a working interview. That means feeding with us, picking a pasture & stall, and walking the property, while we get to know each other a bit (talking in more detail about the job and getting your questions answered for about an hour).

We are loving the breathwork sessions with the horses at the farm!!

These are open to our borders, and to those in our Grounded Horsemanship program only at this time.

We would love to see you at the Horse Lovers Day at Leatherman Lane festival this year 🩷 Please consider making a donation & sharing the event if you can't make it out! (links & details in the original post, so please take a moment to read)
This will be our 5th and final festival (for a while). We brought it back 5 years ago, after shutting it down when it outgrew our farm back in 2015. We are “pausing” the festival for now, so we can focus on some of the programs we offer at Leatherman Lane (yoga, breathwork, groundwork, and horsemanship clinics), as well as catch our breath personally (as planning this is a full-time job, on top of our other full-time jobs - yes plural). We look forward sharing these programs with you & invite you to follow the farm page for details. We hope to be able to bring Horse Lovers Day back to the community in the not too distant future & will be sure to keep you posted here when we do! Thank you for your support of us and this event for so many years!! 🥹🩷

Our Story

LEATHERMAN LANE is a unique equestrian facility located in Concord, North Carolina. We are a private boarding and training barn, known for hosting clinics with top trainers from across the US during our Horsemanship Clinic Series throughout the year.

Leatherman Lane offers boarding to a select number of horses, trail riding by appointment, as well as clinics and private lessons throughout the year. You must have your own horse to participate in these clinics, lessons, and trail riding sessions (sorry,we do not have horses available for lease to ride our trails, you must have your own).
