As we welcome Texas Litter Control to the neighborhood, we want to pause and honor the remarkable legacy of Dr. Dallas Kuehl and Mary Pat Kuehl of The Greater Good Clinic.

For over 21 years, this incredible duo served our community with unwavering compassion, spaying and neutering more than 120,000 pets and providing countless families access to affordable vaccines, preventatives, and lifesaving care. They consistently put the needs of animals first, offering support, expertise, and kindness to our shelter, many private rescues, and the broader Houston animal welfare community.

As they take off their gloves and enter a well-earned retirement, we know they will be deeply missed. Their impact, however, will live on through every life they touched and every future made possible because of their dedication. Dr. Kuehl and Mary Pat will always be held in the highest regard for their selfless mission and the profound difference they made for animals in our community.

Our grand opening will be February 2nd for wellness and the 24th for spay neuter surgery! Remember... your annual vaccination and wellness business supports our life-saving efforts in the community! Our new Texas Litter Control location is now booking wellness appointments 🐾

📍 1001 Dairy Ashford Rd, Houston, TX 77079
(Formerly The Greater Good Clinic)

Wellness services include:
• Vaccines
• Microchips
• Preventatives
• Basic wellness care

🩺 Spay & neuter surgeries will begin February 24th.

Expanding into this location allows us to continue providing low-cost veterinary care while helping keep pets healthy and out of shelters. Appointments are limited and fill quickly, so we encourage scheduling through our website as soon as possible.

We are beyond excited for this big news!!!

TLC has some very big news. Please help us spread the love far and wide this February. 💙

The Greater Good Spay/Neuter Clinic at I-10 & Dairy Ashford was going to have to close due to Dr. Kuehl needing to retire for health reasons. This clinic was the inspiration behind Texas Litter Control — and we just couldn’t let it close.

We’re honored to share that Texas Litter Control will be taking over the operation of the clinic, with hopes of a grand opening at the beginning of February.

This buyout is a significant expense, especially during our slower months, and we need help raising funds to make this possible. We know there are many incredible charities to support, and we truly hope you’ll consider helping TLC continue this legacy of lifesaving care. Texas Litter Control will be taking over the operations of The Greater Good Clinic beginning February 2026. We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of our clients for their continued support throughout the years. Your trust has allowed us to serve this community with compassion and dedication.

As many of you know, Dr. Kuehl is ready to begin his well-earned retirement. He is grateful for the years spent caring for your pets and is excited to see Texas Litter Control carry forward his passion for accessible, high-quality animal care.

Thank you for being part of our story, and we look forward to this new chapter together. Until then, we will remain open as usual excluding holiday closure.
