There is a lot in this photo that changed the trajectory of my life.

I am pictured here with Hans Bourghardt and HRH Princess Alia Al Hussein. It is November of 1985. At Princess Alia’s invitation the Bourghardts and I joined her after the European Champions on board an Alia Airline (now Royal Jordanian) bound for Amman.

The Bourgharts were the first to invite me to show in Europe, in December 1981. Princess Alia was the first to invite me to the Middle East. Both invitations changed my life.

Forever grateful.
