6/11/2026: When approached, Marlo displayed whale eyes, a worried expression, and a low tail. He responded well to treats and baby talk, wagging his tail and maintaining a loose body posture. Walked calmly around the grass area on leash. Covered kennel.
6/10/2026: Marlo panted in his kennel overnight. He would jump on the kennel door as staff passed and tends to pull toward other dogs while on leash to sniff them.
6/5/2026: Vocal in the morning. Easily leashed and walked on a semi-tight leash. Was vocal in the runs toward nearby dogs but would quickly settle and sniff around. No issues returning him to his kennel.
6/4/2026: Relaxed body, wagging tail, easy to leash, and walked on a loose leash. Quiet in kennel.
6/3/2026: Quiet in kennel, sitting at the front of the door with a wagging tail, relaxed body, and soft smiling mouth. Walked on a loose leash.
6/2/2026: Greeted staff with an open-mouth smile and fast wagging tail. Pulled forward on a semi-loose leash going to the runs but walked back on a loose leash. Very vocal and heavily panting in the runs. Once inside, calmly enjoyed his enrichment toy on his bed.
6/1/2026: Quiet in kennel with a relaxed body and wagging tail. Walked on a loose leash.
5/31/2026: Lying down in kennel when approached. Walked on a semi-forward leash and did not take treats. Displayed an open mouth and was forward toward other dogs passing by.
5/29/2026: Quiet throughout the day. Walked well on leash with a relaxed body, open-mouth smile, and wagging tail. Later became forward barking when other dogs passed.
5/28/2026: Quiet in kennel. Relaxed body and swaying tail. Easy to leash and walked on a loose leash.
5/27/2026: Neutral body, swaying tail, and quiet in kennel.
5/26/2026: Greeted staff with a neutral body. Walked on a semi-loose leash. When returning to kennel he became concerned by a hanging clip and pinched his lip. Accepted treats and was able to be unleashed without issue.
5/25/2026: Greeted staff with a neutral body, whale eyes, neutral ears, and low tail. Walked out willingly on a semi-loose leash and kept a neutral body throughout.
5/24/2026: Selected for move-adopt. Waiting calmly in the run with a relaxed body and soft wagging tail. Walked on a loose leash to the adoptions building and settled into his new kennel without issue. Later returned from a walk with blood on his head; when examined he displayed whale eyes and was difficult to fully assess.
5/23/2026: Neutral body at kennel front. Easily leashed and walked on a loose leash to and from the runs.
5/21/2026: Greeted staff with a neutral body, wagging tail, and relaxed face. Walked on a loose leash with a loose body and swaying tail.
5/20/2026: Approached staff with a neutral body, low tail, and neutral face. Walked on a loose leash to the runs and returned calmly.

6/5/2026: Upper respiratory infection symptoms noted, including congestion, sneezing, and head shaking. Diagnosed with CIRD and prescribed Doxycycline 100mg twice daily for 10 days.
6/2/2026: Weighed 43.8 lbs. Normal exam.
5/19/2026: Weighed 43.8 lbs. Normal exam. Heartworm test: Negative. Vaccinated (DA2PP-V, Bordetella, Rabies), dewormed, and given flea prevention.
