Do cats and kittens dream - and what about? 🐱
The presence of dreams in the feline family was first proven by the French physiologist Michel Marcel Jouvet.
During the experiment, he disabled one part of the sleeping cat's brain responsible for muscle activity during sleep. After removing the block, the subject demonstrated a hunting master class during the rapid eye movement (REM) phase. It completely ignored real mice offered to it, chasing invisible prey, which served as evidence of vivid imagery in its mind ⬇️
