Osita came to us after needing to be rehomed, and thanks to a wonderful rescue, she was given a second chance at finding her forever home.🥹
She arrived on May 29, understandably a bit shy and anxious — not quite sure what's going on. But day by day, she's slowly starting to trust and open up. I've already seen glimpses of the sweet soul she is, and I know that with time, patience, and love, her beautiful personality will shine through.❤️ Little steps day by day!🥹

Running a dog boarding facility with 20+
pups means one thing: cleaning is basically a full-body workout with background barking. 😂 Between the dust, fur flurries, and the sand they lovingly track in from the yard (especially after a good zoomie session), things can get messy fast. And don’t even get me started on rainy days — it’s like they bring the entire yard inside with them! 🐾🌧️
Cleaning days are a whole production: scrubbing crates, tidying up kennels, washing blankets and even giving the AC system some love because dog hair gets everywhere. 😅
Some weeks are calm… other weeks feel like a furry frat party just happened. 🐶🧼💨
It’s all part of the routine — a little chaos, a lot of cleaning, and a whole bunch of happy tails at the end of the day. Wouldn’t trade it for the world… well, maybe for a magical self-cleaning floor. 😉
Next step is showering all the dogs!😳😳

Socialization Day for Our Rescue Pups! 🐾
Today was all about socializing some of our wonderful dogs currently in boarding — and they did AMAZING! Socialization is such an important part of a dog’s journey, especially for rescues who may be seeing the world in a new light. 💛
Here’s where our pups explored today:
* Marco took a trip to Lowe’s, where he got lots of pets and enrichment! He’s always such a confident boy and did wonderfully, as usual! 🛠️🐶
* Chloe visited Petco to experience a new environment. She handled it like a champ and took it all in stride! 🐕🐾
* Barbie went to Petsmart, then strolled along the Commons. She’s a bit nervous around moving cars, so we’re working on gently desensitizing her — and she’s making great progress! 🚗💕
* Pearl explored Home Depot, where we practiced leash manners and boosted her confidence with new people and surroundings. She’s blossoming! 🧡🦴
* Sierra also visited Home Depot. She’s not used to going out much, so she was a little shy — but every small step is a win! 🌱🐾
* Honey, who is usually very shy around new people, braved the bustling environment of Home Depot too — and did so well! We’re so proud of her! 🌼🐶
It’s always a joy taking our rescue pups out for these experiences. Many come from tough beginnings, and being able to show them the world in a safe, positive way is truly rewarding. 🐕🌎💖 Located in Houston, TX
