❄️🐶 A strong cold front is moving in, so now’s the time to make sure your furry friends stay safe and warm!

Follow these winter pet safety tips:
✔️ Provide pets with shelter – Bring pets indoors or provide a warm, dry space where they’re protected from the cold. Outdoor community cats can be given a warming box with straw!
✔️ Check those paws – Ice and cold water can cause irritation or injury to sensitive paw pads. Wipe paws clean after outdoor time.
✔️ Watch out for outdoor cats – Tap your car hood before starting the engine—cats often seek warmth inside.
✔️ Beware of chemical hazards – Antifreeze is deadly to pets. Clean up spills and store it securely.
