What do I mean when I say “Traditional Bred Cane Corso?”
When I use “Traditional” I am referring to the original traits the Cane Corso was bred for and the temperament traits demanded of it according to the standard S.A.C.C deemed to be the standard.
During the recovery ❤️‍🩹 phase of this breed the three paramount traits were
1.) Courage
2.) great sense of loyalty
3.) high intelligence
So a traditional Cane Corso is one that at the minimum has these three traits.

“ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny.”

This term refers to the theory that the development of an individual organism (ontogeny) mirrors its evolutionary history (phylogeny). Even though this concept has since developed doubters I still have to get used to the howl and the tiger like growl of a fit Traditional Cane Corso.

With a rising tide of purpose amongst the citizens of America more people are inclined to go back to the days where the most important priorities in life were sought out first and foremost and then if there be any other opportunities avail the people enjoyed a little luxury.

Never allowing an affinity for too much luxury permitted for clarity of vision, thoughts, and solidarity of focus. Here pictured is a male that resembles what it is to have a strong sense of responsibility. Although there is a sea of reasons why people ultimately desire to get into this breed above all of them stands one trait that has made this breed legendary.

What is the difference between and an alarm dog and a threat dog.
The alarm dog is more suitable where a bite is not the main goal. Its main job is to detect and announce any person approaching the area he serves. Due to no need to offer the threat of physical protection there are no minimum requirements for size and strength.

The threat dog on the other hand must have the courage to stand his ground staunchly against anyone who tries to bluff his way past him. Although there is something impressive about a large dog standing firmly in the lath of an intruder unfortunately size is still not the main priority when selecting a threat dog. "Attitude is!" Although the threat dog must possess courage it mustn't be overly aggressive.
Again, size in a threat dog is impressive but so is the right kind of attitude that even a small terrier can possess and who appears ready for violent action!

Why do Traditional Cane Corso have double coats?
The traditional Cane Corso Double coat protects it from the cold and heat.

The undercoat insulates the dog, keeping it warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
The topcoat protects the traditional bred Cane Corso from the elements like snow and UV rays.
Here is a female pup named New Wave Halo, who is a bit more on the masculine side with a bit more bone and polar "bearish" head expression.
