Village Veterinary Service Veterinary Hospital/Clinic Village Vet is conveniently located off route 360 in the quaint town of Amelia,Va. The surrender fee for a cat/kitten is $95.

The business is owned and operated by Dr. Edda Eliasson. As a veterinarian owned hospital, you can rest assured that your animal's best interest is our priority. We see routine appointments for annual check ups and vaccinations, as well as more complex cases requiring surgery and hospitalization. We are proud to offer laser surgery and laser therapy as a progressive option for our clients who want

the safest and least painful treatment for their pets. Also, the majority of blood work performed is done in our clinic with the latest diagnostic testing machines available. Besides providing top quality care for our patients, Dr. Eliasson also helps the stray cats of Amelia and the surrounding areas. Each year we take in and find homes for between 300-400 cats/kittens that find themselves in need of either medical attention, a loving home, or both. This fee goes towards testing the cat/kitten for Feline aids and Feline Leukemia, vaccinating for the core feline diseases, rabies and upper respiratory infections, dewormer, checking for and treating ear mites, flea preventative, spaying/neutering, proper diet, and housing. If additional surgical procedures are needed, they are done with the aim being to get all cats/kittens that are surrendered able to be adopted. Once ready, cats/kittens are taken to an adoption center or can be adopted from us for $95 and any future vaccines or vet visits needed are the new owner's responsibility. Our hospital is dedicated to the well being of our patients and we always welcome new faces. If there are any questions regarding our services please call our office.
