Good morning!
ALL clients will be going home with a copy of shop policies effective August 1, 2025. I wanted to brush over it here as well. Please take a moment to read!
🐶 PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME:
-please do not show up 20-30 minutes early! A few minutes is fine! Appointments are scheduled just enough time apart to allow me to eat and take my own dogs out to potty.
-appointment arrivals that are 15 minutes late will have to be rescheduled unless discussed otherwise. Sometimes I can fit it in, other times my whole day is pushed back.
🐶 PLEASE PICK UP ASAP:
- I give a one hour window past text/call that the dog is ready for pickup then it is $5 per 30 minutes late pick up fee. If you are 10 minutes past a hour it is still $5. By now we should all know how long your groom takes. If it's a hour and a half groom there is no reason I have the dog still 2.5 hours later and this will switch to a boarding rate.
🐶 FLEA FEE:
-please make sure your dog does not have fleas! If dog comes to me with fleas I will charge $25 that it costs me to bomb my shop and I will send the dog home immediately! I have 11 animals of my own, flea outbreaks are a nightmare for me and I in turn have to reschedule my clients for the day to bomb my shop and not pass it on to other dogs.
🐶 CANCELLATIONS:
-if you cancel/reschedule when I confirm the night before or the day of your appointment, you are responsible for still paying 100% of your scheduled groom. I understand things happen. People or dogs get sick. I will wave this 1 time per calendar year (August to August) for my preset clients ONLY. If you are not on presets and cancel within 24 hours you are still responsible for paying your missed appointment! Last minute cancellation/reschedules have gotten out of hand and my kindness has been taken advantage of far too many times which in turn hurts my family income.
-if you planned a vacation, think your dog can go another week or two that's fine! Please let me know enough in advance to where I can fill the spot.
-if I have to reschedule last minute for my own emergency, I will have Sundays open to get you in still the same week. (Sunday is usually my only day off) and people who this has happened to know I put a credit toward the groom as well.
🐶 PAYMENT IS DUE AT PICK UP:
-not when your husband/wife gets off of work hours later. Not when you get back home. NOT when I have to text or call later to remind you for payment. You wouldn't do this at a grocery store, doctor's office, or your own hair apt. So please do not do this to me as well!
🐶 PLEASE DO NOT LET YOUR DOG P**P IN MY YARD.
-this is not a community park. This is my home. I should not have to go pick up your dogs p**p! I have p**p bags available at all times for whoever needs one!
