Over the past weekend, a colony of 27 cats and kittens were rescued from abandonment. As a community, all 27 have been spayed, neutered, vaccinated and are now seeking a home for the holidays. If you are interested in adopting one of these cats or kittens, please message Rem Tnr or myself, Hailey Chapman for an application! Thank you for all you guys have done to help this situation! 🎄🐾

First adoption to this adoption week goes to one of our own employees!! Clara stole her heart and now she is home loving all the cat trees and toys! Clara was adopted from Horseheads Animal Shelter! Thanks for adopting Chelsea!

It’s that time again!!! Come by Horseheads Petsmart March 11th from 11-3 as our local shelter will be there with some adoptable pets! Dog and cat will be available for adoption with approved applications!

Also wanna help pets? Any day from now till the March 12th we will be accepting any donations toward our local shelters. Litter, food, and of course toys are always needed to help these babies while they wait for their forever home!

Normally this time of year we would be having our big adoption even where we bring in a bunch of adoption partners and find lots of babies new homes; however, Covid has made that change a bit!

This year, our national adoption event is VIRTUAL!

What does that mean? We are encouraging everyone to check out the websites of their local shelter\rescue\foster organization to find their new family member! The adoption partner will then relay the information to us, where we can put it into PetSmart Charities to continue to raise money for that adoption partner, as well as get YOU a FREE adoption booklet full of coupons!!

In store, we are hosting a donation drive full of items that our adoption partners have told us that they need! We encourage everyone to check it out and pick a can or 10 🙂

Today's the day!!! A little bit of normalcy returns to our store in this crazy new covid-19 world. We are finally able to get some fur babies back into our adoption center 24\7 with the first being from one of our adoption partners, Pawz and Purrz Animal rescue!

Starting today, you will be able to view the cats & kittens in the adoption center*, read their bios, and fill out an application. Once your application is approved, you will be able to schedule an appointment to go into the adoption center with a Pawz and Purrz representative and bring home your new family member(s)!


*Due to Covid-19 restrictions, our associates are unable to allow people into the adoption center, until their designated appointment time with the adoption partner representative.

We don't know about you guys, but we are pretty darn tired of seeing an empty, sad cat room!
But maybe, just maybe, if you stop by the store Saturday between 11am-1pm it might not be quite so sad and empty 😉😉😉😉🐱🐱🐱🐱
