Hi folks. Once again, we are going to attempt to help our partners at the Blue Ridge Humane Society by collecting supplies for the shelter animals.

For the entire month of April, Anyone who brings anything in at all will get entered into a raffle. At the end of the month, the winner of the raffle gets a free groom for one dog.

Acceptable donations include leashes, toys, beds, blankets, towels, unopened food, and especially CASH. Gently used stuff is great.

Last year, my clients were the largest contributor by far. Many animals were assisted by our efforts. There is no reason we can't make that happen again!!

Please join us in our efforts to help the shelter animals. The game officially starts NOW!!

Hi Gang. The Refined Pup will close about 4pm today for the Holidays. It has been another successful year, but we have all been working too much since the storm. It's time for us to recharge and reconnect with our lives.

Thank you very much for all the folks who showed us love the past year and for entrusting us with your pets. We will be back on 1/2/25@830am. Have a wonderful and safe holiday.

We are accepting towel donations if anyone has any they’d like to part with 🛁

We are booked solid for the approaching holiday season. Thank you for your business and loyalty as we close on 2024. Your dogs and appointments are important to us and we will do our best to accommodate requests, the schedule is always changing. Thank you in advance for your patience as we enter our busiest time of year.

In our efforts to help out other groomers who were less fortunate than us, I have agreed to allow 2 separate Asheville groomers to utilize our shop to service their clients on the weekends when we are not here. So, effective this weekend...Please do not stop in on Sun or Monday. The folks who are here will not be able to assist you. If you need something, email or text me, and I will return your call on a timely basis. This is a temporary scenario to help the shops in AVL who were decimated by Helene.

Hi Gang. We are going to try to open up tomorrow. We have power and water. The shop is accessible via 64 from both Brevard and Hendo. No phone or internet for now, so we may have to be creative. And I am still waiting to hear which groomers can work, so we are going to be in full scramble all week to help as many folks as we can without risking anyone's life.

If you don't think you can make your appt, please let me know and I will see if I cannot juggle some things around. Take care of your mutts and yourself.

Obviously not your average storm. If you have an appt tomorrow, Sat, Sept 28th, please wait until you hear from me. We will have to verify we have power, and that the staff can reach the shop. No one should risk their life for a dog grooming. Please stay safe, and we will reschedule everyone as necessary. I will be in touch

FYI...tomorrow represents an unique day for us. Everyone, including me, wanted to take the day off. All for different reasons, but the end result...we are closed tomorrow. You can send me an email, a text, or leave me a vmail. I will return it when I have a moment, but tomorrow should be about fun!! Sorry for any trouble this may cause you...but we all need to have fun sometime. Be here bright and early on June 11th.

We have a winner!!! Please join me in congratulating Cindy Miller and her dog Fender for being the recipient of the Free groom from the Paws for a Purpose Program. Fender, a Labradoodle, is her Son's Service dog and will be groomed for Free at his next visit.

But of course, the real winners here are the animals at the shelter. Because of you...our great clients...there was bags of food, dog bowls, blankets, toys, leashes, and some excellent cash donated. I am still waiting for the final tally, but each week the van left here loaded with your donations.

I have agreed to keep a donation jar for BRHS here on ongoing basis if you want to contribute.

Hi Gang...I think it is time to use our platform for good. Our local humane society is in need of donations...and I am going to help facilitate it.

So...Please bring by one item for donation...they need food, toys, blankets, leashes, etc...anything EXCEPT open food. For everyone who makes a donation, I will enter you into a raffle. The winner of the raffle gets a free grooming at your next appointment.

This will last the entire month of April and all proceeds go to benefit The Blue Ridge Humane Society.
