What a beautiful Good Friday! Today’s setup for seasoned/senior level and finished/master level dogs.

Seasoned/Senior level dogs run all marks first as singles and then run both blinds.

Finished/Master level dogs run Marks 1 & 2 as a double. Mark 2 is go bird, come back and BIM throw mark 3. Pick up mark 3 and then pick up Mark 1 as memory.

Good start for our first Master test this spring. Old School Retrievers went 4/5 last week at Cajun Riviera Retriever Club. Thanks to my customers, all of the club members, bird techs, and great judges.

A little late posting but we’ve been extremely busy lately traveling between running HRC and AKC tests.
Thanks to North Mississippi HRC club for hosting such a great event as always and thanks to the wonderful judges and workers who donate their time and especially in this miserable heat.

Special thank you to all of our wonderful clients who make this all possible! We have a lot of young guns ready to make their debuts as well so it’s been an exciting year so far!
We are now preparing to compete at the HRC Fall Grand and straight on to the AKC Master National!


We went 16/18 for the weekend and earned 2 new titles!

Finished Level

GATOR-earned 2 finished passes (owner Mack Stuckey)

BLUE-earned 2 finished passes (owner William Kelsey)

CROWN-earned 2 finished passes (owner Keith Menard)

BINGO-earned 1 finished pass (owner Timothy Lewing)

TEAL-earned 1 finished pass (owner Shea Willis)

DAHLIA- Titled for new HRCH (owned and trained by David Oneal) Congratulations buddy you’ve built another amazing dog!

4XGRHRCH POW MH- earned 2 more passes toward his Hall Of Fame title
4XGRHRCH George MH - earned 2 more passes toward his Hall Of Fame title

DIXIE- Ran 2/2 for in seasoned to obtain her HR title! Congratulations to owner Andy Dooley!

It’s been a long couple of weeks for Chad and all the dogs traveling but they had a really successful end to their spring hunt test season!!

Old School Retrievers have tallied up a grand total of 56/58 possible passes for the spring!!

•Started. 10/10
•Seasoned 28/28 With 6 new HR titles
•Finished 18/20 With 3 new HRCH titles
