Itā€™s back to KSU CVM vet school for Caitlynn!
In addition to 2 externships at equine hospitals, Caitlynn worked another summer with us. Sheā€™s been placing IV catheters, intubating, and even got to perform some barn cat neuters and suture up her own horse! Caitlynn has just 2 more years before she earns her DVM. Lucky for us, she still plans to squeeze in some part-time hours helping us out at the clinic.

Schistosomus reflexus is a rare congenital defect accounting for about 1% of cow dystocias. It is a fatal defect causing severe spinal bending, exposed abdominal organs, and locked joints.
