Some dogs wait days for a home.
Some wait weeks.

And then there’s Wallace.

Wallace has spent the majority of his young life growing up in foster care with the same loving family. He has watched countless other foster pets come and go… always wondering when it will finally be his turn.

At just a year old, Wallace is still learning the world around him. Like many young dogs, he thrives with structure, routine, clear boundaries, and guidance. Thankfully, his foster mom has poured her heart into helping him succeed. She has invested in training resources, worked diligently with him at home, and even enrolled him in a formal training program so Wallace could put his very best paw forward.

And it shows.

Wallace is handsome, smart, loving, and so deserving of a forever family that will continue helping him grow into the incredible dog we know he can be.

His foster mom absolutely adores him… but fostering is her calling. Her heart is in helping animals who have nowhere else to go. By opening her home over and over again, she has changed countless lives.

Adopting Wallace wouldn’t just change his life. It would create space for her to save even more animals in whichever community she is able to help.

So today, we’re hoping someone sees what we see:
A good boy who has waited long enough for his happy ending. ❤️

🔥🐾 Hard Truth: Your Family Is NOT a Pet Plan 🐾🔥

We got another message today…
A 12-year-old chihuahua who was loved her whole life is now being rehomed because her owner can no longer care for her.

And now?
She’s losing everything she’s ever known.

This isn’t rare.
It’s not unusual.
It happens ALL the time.

💥 Let’s be blunt:
“My family will take them” is NOT a plan.

Even if they mean well…
Even if they promise…
Even if they know how much your pet means to you…

People change. Circumstances change. Commitment fades.
And your pet is the one who pays the price.

🐾 Senior dogs are the hardest to place
🐾 Shelters are full
🐾 Rescues are overwhelmed

And your dog?
They don’t understand why their world just disappeared.

💡 If you actually want to protect your pet:
Put it in writing (will or pet trust)
Name someone who has explicitly agreed
Set aside funds for their care
Loop in a rescue if needed

Because hope is not a plan.
And love without preparation isn’t protection.

💛 Do right by them—before it’s too late.

Meet Fuffly. She is a 4 year old who decided getting out of her fence would be a good idea. She has a lovely secure fenced area but managed to get out and before her owner could get to her (the yard is very large) she was hit by a car. She needs surgery or an amputation. Not sure which one yet but it is one or the other. We are trying to help and be proactive as either one of these surgeries will be over $1000. We'd love to raise at least $500 to get this started. The owner has 2 children and is on disability but is going to contribute as well. :)
Thanks for considering a gift for Fuffly.

Summer will be here soon!

Please, Please, Please! It is starting to get warm. The warmest part of the day right now is 10am to 4pm. Consider the health and safety when you take your pet outside for walks or when you leave them in the car without air conditioning. Let's keep them safe! 😺🐶😀
