Hey friends happy August! We hope everyone has had a great first week back to school! Checking in to make a much needed policy update! While we understand life & traffic happens, routines change, and curve balls get thrown, we desperately need some revision to our drop off & pickup policies. Our hours are not changing right now, we are just having to crack down on keeping the hours we have set for the sake of our productivity, time for our own families and frankly, our sanity.
Our hours are as follows:
Tuesday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Every-Other Saturday 10am - 6pm
Drop off for appointments:
Tuesday - Friday 8am - 9am
Saturday - 10am
This said, late drop offs and pickups will no longer be tolerated. Again, we completely understand life happens, however we will require some sort of communication and pre-authorization before permitting a late drop off or pickup. We reserve the right to request to reschedule in the event of a drop off or pickup outside of a reasonable time past our cut offs, or charge a fee for either circumstance. Drop off fees are an additional $15, late pickup fees are $25/15 minutes up to 30 minutes, see below for this revision. These fees will not apply if late pickup is on us for any reason such as running behind or extended holiday hours, after all we do work with animals, and theyāre not always predictable. We will never fault the client for this. As also a reminder, we ask that all dogs are picked up within an hour of your completion text, unless otherwise discussed that morning at check in. Daycare fees of $10-20/hour, depending on the size of the dog, will occur after the first hour is up and each hour following until pick up.
- The main policy change -
If the pet is not picked up by 30 minutes past closing, and we have exhausted all efforts to contact you, we will be assuming the pet is boarding. The pet will be walked, set up with a blanket and a water bowl, and kenneled for the night, in which pickup can be completed the following morning. Boarding fees of $100/ per pet will be added to the service ticket. To avoid this, please ensure we have a correct contact number as well as at least one emergency contact number on your profile in the event you are unavailable.
We know this sounds like a lot, but please understand we have been too easy for too long on these policies. Our drop off policy ensures we can bathe everyone in a timely manor to ensure we can meet the requested pick up times. Our daycare policy is to help reduce stress on all the pets in our care as well as cuts down on the likelihood of a potty accident, which could potentially set the entire day behind in the event a re-bathing needs to happen. Our closing time is to ensure we all get home to our families at a decent time. When weāre stuck at the salon sometimes hours past closing, our families are suffering. After all, we already spend more time in the salon than we do with our families.
