I am very sad to announce that for the next 6 weeks, my hours will be shortened. I will still be doing nail trims, baths/ full service grooms on pups up to 45lbs (unless they are ok with being groomed on the floor), and training twice a week. Please remember to have your fur babies rabies vaccination up to date and for new clients please provide this information when booking your first appointment. I am very very sorry for the inconvenience and am grateful for those who continue to have your loved ones groomed/trained by Puppy Paws Spa House-Call Grooming&Training 🐕 🐈 🐇 🦎 🐐 🐾 💞

Tonight Puppy Paws Spa House-Call Grooming&Training has been informed that one of its very first clients has taken the journey over the rainbow bridge. 🌈 2024 & 2025 has brought us soooo many wonderful babies that I was able to pamper before they left us and I am so very grateful to of had that opportunity. Ginger girl, your happiness,love, and beautiful face will be greatly missed. Go play ,pain free 💝

This week I got to meet Pickle , the 3 year old mix who was a rescue off the streets. His new owner explained that he was just a day away from being put down due to aggressive behavior. After a not so easy transport to VT , his owner had asked for my help in hopes to socialize and help him out. At our initial introduction he was being territorial over his new home and family. After an hour we were on the floor together and he was giving so much affection as well as submitting and asking for affection back. Our goal is for him to trust me enough to pick him up and groom him in the near future.

Today adventures brought me close to a childhood home in Johnsonville, where I got to meet Sadie the Black - Goldendoodle & Tallulah the white Golden Retriever. These girls get to enjoy the life on a beautiful goat farm ,going for a mile long walk every morning. I unfortunately did not get an after picture only because today I just gave them a mini Make-Rover which included nail trims ,brush outs, and paw pad shave outs. (More is included in the package but mom is allergic to scents.)I do look forward to future grooms with these girls , and getting to meet their goat siblings. 🐐 🐾 🐕 💇‍♀️ 💅

They don't tell you in grooming school that one of the hardest things to do is take on an elderly/disabled pup. The bond that gets built over a short amount of time is so pure and loving, which makes their walk over that rainbow bridge even harder. What hurts EVEN more is when they make that journey on the day of your late sister's birthday. Please say hello to Karla for me Mazie girl. I'll miss that beautiful face of yours.
P.s. look for Harley she needs someone to play with , tell her that Gypsy, her parents, and I miss her.

Today I had the honor to groom Rex and Rosie. Their dad is a retired vet who served 2 tours protecting our country. The smile on the dads face and the instant love that I got from both the pups after their clean ups are why I chose this career. It is the greatest feeling to help not only the fur babies, but to be able to give back to those who have done so much for not only my family and I but for hundreds and thousands of people.

When agility training started ,it reignited a passion I've had other than grooming. I have been holding off on posting this so that I can better my technique a tad. PLEASE know that this is all done with an Android phone, but I work hard on editing and I will be upgrading soon.🙏🏼
