I can not express how thrilled I am for our Katie Leyh to be facing the most exciting challenge anyone could experience in the 2026 Mongol Derby, and doing it in Keith's honor! Katie went through a rigorous process to even be accepted into this race, which is a testament to her character! You can read her tribute to Keith and more about Katie and her goal on her GoFundMe page (link below). Spatz Harland and his ladies Bobbie and Ruby are now making their home at Big Bear Ridge Ranch in Idaho. I hope to head over that way in May and see what 'plumb good Spatz babies' they are blessed with this year.

National Day of the Horse. What can I say? This will most likely be the last time I post on this special day. What a life we have had on Hooper Crossing Ranch with these magical creatures. They were our passion. We worked, played, slept, and breathed horses! Thank you to all the plumb good horses that made these years such an unforgettable journey.

With a broken yet thankful heart, I announce that all of our Hooper Crossing plumb good horses have found new homes. It has been a rough 8 months since my cowboy left and I knew I couldn't run this ranch without him. My job was to find the very best partners for all of our horses, from the new foals to our breeding stock. Thank you to all our friends and clients who made that happen! The legacy of 'plumb good horses' will continue and I will be letting you know about that soon. I want to express how much I have appreciated every single post, message, call, and letter, whether I answered you or not, I felt it. Thank you!
