The Barking Dog is proud to offer the very finest in boarding accommodations for your dog. We have individual, spacious, indoor-outdoor runs

which are completely climate controlled to maximize the comfort of your pup during their stay with us. It is our policy to allow your dog free access to the “in” and “out” portions of their run unless inclement weather or extreme temperatures dictate otherwise. During cold weather, our runs are warmed by radiant floor heat. This method of heating is a comfortable and consistent form which is especially soothing to young puppies and older dogs with stiff joints. Our outdoor floors are also heated for the purpose of eliminating ice and snow build-up which is essential for good sanitation. During the summer season, indoor runs are air conditioned to ensure your pet’s comfort. All runs are cleaned on an ongoing basis, and disinfected daily. For the pampered pooch, we offer cozy inside pens which can be complimented with plenty of trips outside to potty. You may request a boarding reservation on our website! Daycare:
Whether your dog is restless, lonely, spends long hours at home, in need of socialization, or simply bored, our quality daycare can help! has developed great programs aimed at filling the void in dog socialization and exercise many dogs experience today. We are proud and excited to offer facilities and programs unmatched anywhere in the country. All sites offer sport-turfed outdoor play areas to ensure your dog stays safe and clean. Indoor programs are conducted in spacious, climate controlled rooms equipped with shock absorbent, non-slip flooring; perfect for active play. The dogs also have the option to participate in indoor swim time in the morning, so that they have plenty of time to dry off before pick up! Grooming:

The Hooksett NH dog training staff at The Barking Dog, Ltd. is highly qualified to assess your dog and work with you, or for you, to achieve the level of behavior you seek. Training effectively opens lines of communication between you and your dog. A pet which responds to your instruction and commands offers a much more rewarding relationship. Jocelyn received her canine trainer certification through Animal Behavior College, and has been working with dogs professionally for over 15 years. She is well experienced with dog daycare, kenneling, basic grooming, and veterinary assistance. Over the years, she’s discovered that she had a love for dog behavior in particular, and concentrates her energies on techniques that use positive reinforcement methods such as lures and rewards rather than punishment. Jocelyn continues her education by regularly attending seminars and keeping up with the most current training techniques. She is also Red Cross Canine CPR & First Aid certified, and is working on attaining her training certification through the Council of Certified Pet dog Trainers (CPDT). Jocelyn has three dogs of her own; a boxer named Gus, and two mixed breeds named Boots and Tess. When she’s not working at The Barking Dog, she enjoys hiking with her dogs, foraging for edible mushrooms, doing artwork, and spending time with her family.
