Happy 1 week to these lil hamsters 🐹🥰 Do you like their litter names?😁They’re thriving & growing beautifully so far. Cherry is also very attentive to them & eating well💜 She is loving all the extra special food that she can eat like a buffet🥰 We have been doing ENS (early neurological stimulation) & ESI (early scent introduction) from day 3 as we do with all our little ones growing up here. Their lil personalities are already showing through how they react to these early practices with them. They got their first nail trims, get daily cuddles, lots of milk, & lots of sleep.
Maybe by week 2, I will make videos of their ENS, ESI, nail trims & such so you can see it all in action🥰 by week 2, their eyes should start opening so that’s always exciting! They’re transforming quickly & getting pudgier by the hour.
P.s. A bit of a fun fact: Bubbles is the only black&tan in the litter who got some excess white but for anyone confused, she is still a black&tan. She just won’t be able to show in conformation since too much white on a wholecolor cavalier isn’t ideal for shows. So from a show breeder’s perspective, she would automatically become a loving pet but not a show dog. It doesn’t take away from anything about her & I think she has such an adorable face anyhow🥰 Some breeders will pair a wholecolor to a particolor to improve parts in things like expression & even temperament but it can sometimes be “risky” due to the possibility of excess white. But it’s worth it when you can keep back what you manifest with the specific pairing. With that being said, I already love how they’re looking & so excited to keep sharing their growth.
