✨ A Week of Learning, Growth & Inspiration ✨
We took a week off and headed to Las Vegas to attend SuperZoo!
The biggest goal of this trip was to take a proper CPR class for dogs. At a grooming salon where we care for many dogs every day, being prepared for an emergency is incredibly important. I had been wanting to take a comprehensive CPR class, so we decided this was the perfect opportunity.
And I’m so glad we did.
The class gave us so many valuable lessons and new perspectives, and reminded me once again just how important it is to be prepared before an emergency happens. I’ll be working on incorporating what I learned into our salon’s daily operations and emergency protocols.
I also had the opportunity to take several classes taught by amazing instructors, including hair cutting, sc******ng, and skin & coat care. It was an incredibly productive and inspiring trip, and I came home with so many ideas and updates for our salon operations.
At the trade show, I was also able to connect with some wonderful vendors, including brands I’ve wanted to carry for years. I’m excited that my favorite supplements will now be available at Lokahi for extra support for dog’s wellness!
And of course, we couldn’t go all the way to Las Vegas without taking a little extra time to explore😆 We made our way to Arizona and visited the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, and Horseshoe Bend. The scale and beauty of nature were truly overwhelming—in the best possible way. It was an unforgettable experience!
We enjoyed meals at there as well😋
