Our Tallow Balm sold out at Hoʻomau Market today! Mahalo!
What makes me smile is that we’ve been making this balm for nearly 7 years, long before beef tallow became trendy.
It actually started when my kids were still in cloth diapers. I formulated a simple tallow balm to help soothe diaper rash. Later, when we started Pawniolo Pets, I tweaked the recipe and began using it on our bull terrier, Freya, for her dry paws and scratchy long nose.
Not much has changed since then.
Every batch is still made by hand using grass-fed Hawaiʻi beef tallow that we carefully render, blend, and hand-pour right here on Hawaiʻi Island.
