In other words, a dog you can take anywhere without having to worry he will jump on people or knock over small children or growl at other dogs. We help people train puppies and dogs into well-behaved, easygoing canine family members. You

We offer private dog training, puppy training & socialization, group dog training classes, as well as dog sports & workshops. Congratulations to our new Your Dog's Place Canine Good Citizens! They had top notch performances yesterday in spite of the heat! Hurray Lisa and "Olive", Lori and "Kane", Virginia and "Darby", Karen and "Marley" and Kert and "Ripp"! Thank you to my incredible volunteers who step up to the plate, sometimes last minute! I love to see you and appreciate your help, smiles and laughter - Elaine and Woody with "Cooper", Mr. Reliable friendly Golden, a natural for our neutral greeting dog! Huge THANK YOU to Nina from Happy Paws - School for Dogs for coming out in the sweltering heat for the day to evaluate these dogs. I know you want them to pass as much as their handlers do and you're so great about taking the stress off of "testing"! Thanks to my friend Jodi at Rockstar DOG Bakery for delectable customized doggie cookies. I love to watch the dogs' faces light up when they see their hard earned reward! Devoured on site every time.

Congratulations to our new Your Dog's Place Therapy Dog teams, Jodi with "Drake" and Shane with "Cooper". They passed their Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dog Certification test yesterday with flying colors! The teams did fantastic and I couldn't be more proud of my students! Thrilled to have them working in our local communities bringing smiles and laughs to all they meet. Thank you to my incredible volunteers - Diane with "Riley Ray", Amy with "Opal" and last minute emergency fill in Lorrie with "Marley"! I count on my awesome volunteers, and you always deliver. Huge thank you to Donna DeVoist of Wylde Pups Gentle Dog Training and Lure Coursing for traveling from afar to evaluate our crew and on a Sunday this time! We adore having you and the most adorable Windsprite "Rocky"! And thank you to Jen Arnold for enjoying the day with us and we hope to be seeing you much more in the near future! Thanks again as always to Jodi from Rockstar DOG Bakery for her delectable custom dog cookies and also to My Dog & Me Barkery and Boutique (hard to make choices, but they were a hit!) in Honesdale. These dogs don't want to wait until they get home to eat them, they must eat their cookie right then and there! Looking forward to hearing stories and seeing photos of these amazing dogs spreading tail wagging joy!

Congratulations to our new Your Dog's Place Therapy Dog teams, Kert and "Ripp", Nina and "Eleanor" and Virginia and "Darby"! They all aced their Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dog Certification tests yesterday! Everyone did a phenomenal job preparing their dogs and I'm so proud of all of you! We are looking forward to your healing presence in our local communities as your happy, outgoing canines bring smiles and laughs to all they meet. Thank you to my incredible volunteers - Woody with "Cooper", Elaine with "Cooper" and Amy with "Opal", along with help from my buddy "Bishop" who enjoys quiet crowds only please! I appreciate you all more than you could possibly know! You were a great and funny team that worked well together, good to keep me and those testing laughing! Huge thank you to Donna DeVoist of Wylde Pups Gentle Dog Training for traveling from afar to evaluate our crew. We love you and the sweetest guy around "Rocky". My students always appreciate your calm energy and guidance. Thank you to Jodi McGee who made delectable custom dog cookies for her classmates (she's testing her dog next weekend) and our volunteer dogs. The pups worked hard and just couldn't wait to wolf them down! Can't wait to hear stories about the joy these dogs are spreading!

**New class! Intro to Rally Obedience!!
Looking for something fun to do with your dog, something that will help build the bond between you? Give rally obedience a try! It's less structured than traditional obedience, and you can talk to your dog!
Either a basic class(family manners, life skills, CGC), or previous training experience would be helpful.
Class begins on Friday, April 10, at 7:00 pm.

They all aced their Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dog Certification test this past weekend! Everyone did fantastic jobs preparing their dogs and I'm very proud of you all! We are looking forward to your healing presence in our local communities as your sweet dogs bring smiles and laughs to all they meet. Thank you to my incredible crew of volunteers - Diane and Frank with "Riley Ray", Michele with "Tuukka" and Amy with "Opal"! (Even my shy guy "Bishop" helped out this weekend.) I appreciate you all more than you could possibly know! Huge thank you to Donna DeVoist of Wylde Pups Gentle Dog Training and Lure Coursing for traveling from afar to evaluate our crew and dealing with our Winter weather rescheduling! Congratulations to our new Canine Good Citizens! They rocked it for their evaluations this past Saturday! Hurray to Nicki and Mike with "Millie", Tracy with "Luna", and my sweet shy girl "Kula". Keta with "Danny" and Tracy with "Luna" earned their CGCA titles, excellent job to you both! A big shout out to Karen with "Frank", Lisa with "Olive" and Mercedes with "Teddy" who all made me VERY PROUD and I know I will see you again soon! Thank you to my incredible volunteers who I love to see and appreciate their reliability - Diane and Lorrie with "Marley" our loveable neutral dog who has found a new job she loves to do! Huge THANK YOU to Nina from Happy Paws - School for Dogs for coming out for the day to evaluate today's group, always fair, always honest and most importantly rooting for our dogs to pass and earn their title. Thanks to my friend Jodi for delectable customized doggie cookies which the dogs love to devour after a job well done!

Congratulations to our new Your Dog's Place Canine Good Citizens! They aced their evaluations on Saturday! Amazing job Karen and "Chance", Alan and "Bella", Jen and "Barkley", Neil and "Macey", Taylor and "Cooper", and my sweet boy "Bishop"! Thank you to my incredible crew of dedicated volunteers - Diane, Elaine and Patsy with "Zephyr". I love that you enjoy coming out regularly to help me with these evaluations, your smiling faces put testing jitters at ease! Great big thanks to Nina from Happy Paws - School for Dogs for coming out for the day to test this group for our final CGC test of the year. We can't thank you enough for your patience and understanding! Thank you for always making it clear that you want our dogs to pass and helping their people to relax. Thank you Jodi from Rockstar DOG Bakery for customized doggie cookies!!! Sometimes the cookies get eaten before their people get a chance to take a photo of that darn cute cookie! Too funny!
