Our resident cat-dog Curtis would like you to help us celebrate Wishlist Wednesday by sending gifts to his kitty friends! He also has a few items on there that help him be the best friend to our sanctuary kitties! He has his own cat named Granite, knows how to do biscuits, and shares his water bowl with all the kitties even though they have their own fountains!

TT is staying warm ahead of this cold snap!
Christmas is right around the corner, and we really want to spoil the rescue kitties after the rough lives they have led. We are thankful for anyone who would like to send them gifts! All we want for Christmas is… cat litter?!! 😂😂😂 You guys hear me say that litter is our biggest and most frequent expense. Sam’s club has an unbelievable deal until 12/26. Tidy cats is usually $18/19 for 35 pounds.. so this 40lb for $15.. just amazing!

It is available for shipping, if you PM us I am happy to send our address. Also, I can pick up any orders made at the Anderson or Greenville Sam’s Club.

It would be great to ring in the new year with a nice stockpile of litter.. we use about 8 of these a week. 😳

This precious little girl is still up for adoption. Her name is Princess Petunia and she is the best kitten. She is cute and soft and loves to cuddle, but ALSO loves to play, can fetch her lamb chop toy, and is dog friendly! Her bff is a dog named Dudley.

From a starving tiny thing that barely weighed a pound, to a healthy well rounded kitten is all thanks to our foster stepping up.

Are you her forever family? Don’t ring in another year without her in your lap!

And now for the sad post…
Yesterday I woke up to find our cat, Marbles, passed away. It appears she curled up and went to sleep in a big comforter at the foot of our bed … and never woke up. She was not even old. I rescued her off the streets of Honea Path a little over a year ago. To say I started the day heartbroken is an understatement. Little did I know it was only the start. Around noon, my baby brother called me crying his eyes out, letting me know it was time to put Bella, our family dog down. She was the best girl. She loved her tennis ball. 🎾 If you were by her at all she was trying to get you to throw it. In the yard, in the house, in the car, it didn’t matter. Bella❤️Ball. Unfortunately her recently discovered cancer had made her unable to breath, despite medications, her suffering only got worse. So he did want no one ever wants to do and tossed her a ball over the rainbow bridge.
So I’m sitting in the truck dealing with that, when I get a call about the TNR cats that had been dropped off for surgery that morning. Two of them had to be euthanized due to heavily progressed cancer. While I don’t have any pictures of them as they were community cats, they did have a team of dedicated caretakers at the colony who loved them very much.
If everyone could please take a moment to remember our lost souls, Marbles, Bella, and Mr. And Mrs. Fluffy colony cat. They will all be missed. May Chris welcome you at the rainbow bridge. 🌈

we were able to make a trapping cameo in and 8 cats were TNRd, no longer contributing to the unwanted kitten population that is plaguing the Upstate.
A million thanks to oconeehumane spay and neuter clinic for performing the surgeries and supporting TNR.

Kitty's Kitten Rescue is a privately owned and operated rescue for kittens under 8 weeks of age. Specializing in kitten fostering and adoption. Seeking new foster families. Servicing Oconee, Pickens, and Anderson Counties.

Jade wants everyone to see just how big he can stretch😂

Happy $2 Tuesday to our friends. I feel like $2 is just asking for leftover change, so today, we are going to ask for a different kind of leftovers too!

We are looking for any leftover wood boards, plywood, rolled insulation, insulated board, paneling, carpeting, or rolled linoleum that you might have sitting around from a past project. We are happy to come pick anything like this up within an hour of Honea Path. These supplies will help insulate our sanctuary building as well as be used to create enrichment for the kitties like climbing shelves and such.

We also are looking to get a round bay of straw, preferably delivered, for our winter houses at community colonies.
